Have you seen this thing Facebook. It in one respect it is neat to hook up with old friends. However, 30 years later those that treated us in the very least, lousy are now trying to make all nice. Never, mind atomic testicle blast, given at least once a week. Also, there were the times when we were dating a fantastic girl, but just as prom came along, some Alpha male stole my girl away.

But now, I have forgiven all. Frankly, the so called Alpha males are cleaning fecal trenches in the oil patch. And I am working for fortune 500 company. Yet, I can't help but seeking a bit of revenge at the 30th reunion. I will play friendly to the assholes and get them drinks with a fair share of Visonex and also bring them snacks with cheese and sausage that have a smattering of dinngliberies.

This is wrong, but vengeance is cathartic. It may be a good lesson to the Aholes--if they never matured past age17

With Change comes Responsibility

I did not want Barak Obama to be elected, that being said I hope he is hugely successful. After all we still need to live in this country. Although, if things get really bad us Texans can say vaya con dios and part ways friendly. I doubt that would ever happen but it is nice to have that as a possible exit strategy.

Now Obama must handle the financial crisis, the sliding economy, the wars in the mid-east and of course the soon to arrive attack that soothsayer Biden said will come. Much blame will be given to the Republicans over all these crises, but they are now in charge and must fix the problems with their policy of change.

The problem with the "Change" rhetoric is their policies have been tried all over the Soviet Union, Eastern Europe, even Great Britain and France and they have all moved away from Obama's changes. Much of the financial crisis started when the Dem's took over the Senate, so if it is business as usual we will really have big problems. There are leaks about federalizing the automotive industry--as an individual with twenty years of experience in the car business more government involvement would be the death of the domestic car industry.

Obama is a smart man. I hope he governs differently then his voting record. One more issue that I am extremely concerned about is the fact that he is the first black president. My choice for president never had anything to do with race but, what if Obama's presidency is akin to Carter's how long would it be before we have another black president. That is what is really concerning. Their are some articulate, out of the box, minority politicians that could do this country some good. However, there are still many that will blame failure on the color of the man in office. This is shameful, but still the case in the U.S.

I was not happy when Obama won the election, because of his policies, however, I was proud of my country that he was elected, because perhaps we have finally put the slavery issue behind us. That goes for the Aryan Brotherhood and the black Poverty Pimps--there is change and these groups are now insignificant

Did You Know Obama is Our First Black President?

The election is over and the sky did not fall. Yes, it was disturbing to see the blatant biasness of the old and soon to be extinct old media. Likewise, Black Panthers with night sticks at polling locations seems a bit fascist, but in the end the system worked.

California passed a ban on gay marriage--CALIFORNIA did this. The Senate did not get a super-majority and we have only two years until the House turns over. Reportedly, gun sales went ballistic the Wednesday after Obama's election. These are all good things.

The ultimate, God-given right of all humans is to fight and have descent against tyranny of all forms. There may be some tyranny on the way, but let's not forget the red states have plenty of guns and know how to use them. I am not suggesting a government overthrow, but if the government attempts to eclipse the rights that were written in the constitution be ready. The important thing to remember about the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence is they enumerated our right given to us by God--not any government run by man.

Finally, there are two historical similarities of the Obama presidency. The first is the one term of President Carter whose policy threw our country into the depths of stagflation. Obama's Reaganesque tax talk does not equate to the spending and re-distribution of the wealth which he also discusses. Likewise, speaking of redistribution of wealth, the last time the media was having orgasmic celebrations of a world leader was when Gorbachev came upon the scene. In both cases, the leaders' terms or countries did not last long.

We are still Americans and we have lived through similar situations, but we must now be the loyal opposition. Fight all forms of tyranny. Use your freedom of speech in the form of descent against wrong, idiotic or un-American governmental actions.

Do not disengage, fight the good fight, our country was founded on inherent God given rights that no man, agency or government can deny. I founding fathers found this worth dying for and I can't think of many things worth more than sacrificing whatever it takes to keep our country America.

The 2008 Political "A Song for You"

In 1980 I watched the Willie Nelson, Dianne Cannon movie "Honeysuckle Rose" in which Willie did a song entitled "A Song for You". While I was a pretty hardcore metal head, I really enjoyed Willie's guitar work on the song and the lyrics were haunting. About the only time my generation (the older, but still disillusioned Gen Xers) heard this song was when Willie sang it alone or with Ray Charles. Keep in mind this was a time when people in Detroit and Brooklyn were buying $300 back-cut boa skin boots and wearing big rodeo belt buckles--so Willie and his resulting Outlaw movement gave this song some exposure.

I later found a Ray Charles solo version of the song that was much more keyboard heavy and convinced me that Ray was the writer of the song. It was much more soulful and knowing that Willie would sing any song with anybody, anywhere, and at anytime--I concluded that Ray had to be the song's writer. The song had innate blackness--the suffering, the soulfulness just a certain as the blues has the same blackness. It did not matter to me--I was born in Texas and heard the "N" word more times than any soul should, unless of course one is growing up in an inner city black community. I like what I like for its inherent value not any racial or other reason of bias.

More recently, Usher and Christina Aguilara did wonderful covers of the song. I loved both versions and added them to my Willie and Ray favorite versions on You Tube. I then found a haunting, and perhaps the best version of the song by a performer named Donny Hathaway. Turns out Donny was a Black guy so my theory of the songs "Blackness" was correct I had just attributed the origin to Ray Charles. Again, it did not matter each performer gave their own flavor to the song and each version was beautiful.

I eventually learned that the song was written by Claude Russell Bridges, better known as Leon Russell, a white guy who was heavily influenced by blues, gospel and rock. I heard Leon's original recording of the song and it was not my favorite as he, as a white guy was trying just a little too hard to sound black--or bluesy or maybe he was not the best singer, but I had to respect him because he was the writer of the song that caused the other performers to put the innate soulfulness into the song. I later heard Leon sing the song with Willie and Ray, thirty years after his original version and his style was much more relaxed but just as bluesy.

So what does this have to do with the 2008 political election. It is not about the color of the person but the flavor of their song--a song that should have a uniquely American flavor, which by definition has touches of several flavors. However, if the person, no matter their color, is not able to perform the song beautifully they should not be added to our Favorites menu on You Tube. I submit to you that the two political parties have given us two candidates that are the equivalent of OJ Simpson and Wayne Newton hacking Leon Russell's song. Ray Charles is rolling over in his grave. And we all lose.

What To Do When Your Country Leaves You

Garth Wyndham-Price of UKVU has long been a proponent of Civil Anarchy. This form of "government" would be much like life in the western portions of the colonies/states in the 1700's. Essentially, the community would be self-governing and little if any involvement from the Federal government would occur. Which was how the Federal Government was originally intended to operate.

The beautiful thing about this form of communities is there would be a moral imperative that the communities would arrive upon. If one community the town lech was caught buggering a young boy he or is genitals could be banished. However, the same lech could go to the bugger colony and perhaps be a productive member of society.

This would also hold true for the economics of Civil Anarchy. If a lazy wanker does little to help his financial circumstances he can live in poverty or the gracious donations of those in the community that would care to help. Most importantly there would be NO Federal Government safety net that would allow said wanker to live off the earnings of other hard working people. It is axiomatic when welfare is removed for wankers the number of wankers accordingly decrease.

We have been on a 60 year flirtation with socialism. As socialism and communism fail all throughout the world the United States, the once glittering pinnacle of Freedom and Capitalism is now about to quadruple its National Debt by bailing out major Bank/Brokerage firms that took on a risky business plan that has failed. Therefore, like any of us who fail, they should lose what they risked. But that will not be the case, the so-called conservative GW Bush is essentially Federalizing these entities. So we now have economic socialism firmly entrenched.

More frighteningly we have a stealth Muslim, that will not follow national protocol when the National Anthem or the Pledge of Allegiance is conducted very close to being the Commander-in-Chief of the most powerful armed forces in the world. With Obama's blatant anti-American leanings it would not be inconceivable that he would do away with the Posse Comatasus and turn the armed forces on its own citizens.

I do not believe that the Patriots in the US Armed Forces would allow this to happen, but if the order was given to round up certain "undesirables"--the possibility of a military coupe would be very real.

Obama's loyalties are not those of traditional Americans. He is not qualified to be Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. At best, he is qualified to be the president of a local Toastmasters group--he can give one hell of a speech.

What we need now is not an experienced politician, but a statesmen that respects what this country was founded upon and the vision to move it back to that direction. Less the slavery and other kinks that were worked out as our nation grew, by the way there is good evidence that Obama's forefathers were actually selling Africans to the slave-traders. The Muslim faith has no issues with slavery.

I thank the Lord that I was born in America, but increasingly more that I am a Texan, because if the feces hits the fan, we can legally pull out of the once great Republic. Lock and Load and as they said in the movie "Red Dawn"--"Wolverines!!". It may not be the Russians but the enemy within.

Save the Rats

I have seen the heart rending pictures and ads that show the plight of the poor polar bears because of climate change. It is despicable and we should act as a unified movement to do what we can to save these majestic animals.

Similarly, I have become aware of another plight that may not be as majestic, but as we know any time the circle of life is interrupted the earth spins out of control. What I'm speaking of is the ultra-fascist re-cyclists that are destroying the natural habitat of the rats. With the depletion of the refuse dumps rats are fast finding few places to naturally acclimatize.

Luckily, if the rats can speed their way to Washington D.C. before the arrival of the hogs and other pork like animal, which migrate there each year during Congressional session, they should find a safe and morally filthy place to which they are acclimatized. The are all God's animals and we should do what we can to insure the existence of these noble, shifty and rather greasy animals--and by that I mean the rats not the Congressmen. The Congressmen should be tried for the Alien and Sedition Act.

Tierney, Liberty or None of the Above

It is now down to Obama or McCain to be the next leader of the worlds finest example of a "Free Country". Yet, it is becoming increasingly more expensive to have this free country and the freedoms we enjoy are becoming more restricted by government and willing cohorts in the form of special interest groups from the right and left.

The American form of government has moved so far from what the founding fathers had envisioned that one could argue that based on the original charter of the constitution our current form is illegal. One prime example of illegal action by the federal government is the Death Tax. The government now takes a large portion of estates being passed on to the heirs in the form of a Death Tax--mind you, all of the monies and properties in these estates had taxes paid on them as they were acquired. This may be the most offensive, tourturous and sodomizing tax ever foisted upon the American people. Simply, it is a wonderful example of Tierney. Tierney is why the Colonists claimed independence from King George.

What does one do if they want to change the tierney that the government is forcing upon them? Many actions that our founding fathers did would now land one in jail if not in front of a firing squad. Something similar to this movement must become top of mind for Americans or soon we will have uncivil anarchy--just look to the Mexican border as a glimpse into our future.

The problem with all the movements, schools of thought and rightous outrage is the majority of Americans are comfortable with their lives even as they see their freedoms slipping away. Big Brother, the Federal Government has control over most aspects of our lives. Yet, our currency is controlled by a non-governmental entity--the Federal Reserve. Are any of these "policies" spelled out in the Constitution? That depends on how the Supreme Court interprets the constitution.

The federal government is so cemented in its unwavering course to complete tierney that a revolution must take place. Witness our choices for President; McCain makes JFK look Reaganesque and Obama who is trying to emulate JFK is inexperienced and has some very questionable parts of his life that the media will not address. One simple way to start the revolution is to add a None of the Above box to all ballots. We deserve better representation in our Republic than what we are receiving and if none of the choices are acceptable they should not be elected by default.

This would be a small step that could have a huge impact. One may wonder what happens if the government has to shut down because there are no elected officials to pass bills and laws? That would be a start of a wonderful revolution of the deconstruction of a bloated and probably illegal government. The founding fathers put the capital in Washington DC because it was over a swamp and a terrible place to be. There reasoning was it would lessen the damage the statesmen could do to the country. Less politicians in DC equates to more rights and money in our pockets. Remember, Vote None of the Above in 2008!

As most know I am a proponent of civil anarchy. But, I know this vision is beatific at best, however, I must raise a voice of intellectual and free thinking rhetoric to wake up the domiciles of freedom and liberty to protect not the world but the philosophies of free thought and the pursuit of happiness.

The current condition in the UK is gaseous at best, but those that are clear thinking would call it diaherical, or perhaps in the worst of conditions just plain bloody shitty. The advantage of the UK's form of government is we can do an anal adjustment quickly and rather painlessly.

Which brings us to the political colour of the United States. I do not use the term " colour" lightly as the darkest candidate has been the most charismatic. The other two candidates are as they say in the south" white bread". So if Mr. Obama wins the election who do we have to protect Free thought: France.

Much of this philosophy has come from the Gauls but can we really rely on them to protect this form of governance. We can only hope. Obama has already denied his country's flag and country's most sacred song. He believes it to be to aggressive. He would prefer...something about the world doing or buying coke.....

The American political "race" is trite and pre-defined. There is not one politician that really stands for anything. Who cares who wins. There might be some slight interest in who the Republican chooses for a Vice President, but do we really believe that any of the three will make a difference.

Two elections ago we thought it extremely important whom was chosen President. Now eight years later we see that only one was slightly better because he did not understand the whole "scientification" of Oval warming.

Yes we can laugh at the verbal mistakes this Texan made, but can we forgive the Goebblerian propaganda that Gore has made his career upon the last several years. Has there been climate change? Yes. Is this new? No. What was the warmest year since we have been keeping records? 1994----BRRRRp---actually after REAL scientific analysis we have found it was 1938.

So, what about the stories of the arctic melting? Probably true, the problem is all that melting water is becoming frozen in Antarctica. Is their climate change--Yes. Does man cause it? Prove it.

There have been many warmings and coolings before man had the combustible engine. So why is Al Gore so concerned about defeating "Global Warming", oh sorry now it is "Climate Change"....

If it warms we are at fault, if it cools we are at fault. Butt, there is a champion: he invented the Internet, Love Story was based on his and Tipper's.......poor Tipper. But, he now has the solution to save the world. One must ask why his ability to see in into the future was clouded when he was berating Colonel Oliver North for spending so much money on a safety system.

Oliver North's answer was that a man name Osama Bin Laden was targeting, so he was protecting his family. Gore scoffed at this answer. How many particulates, clouds of gas and ozone damage was done in 9/11. Al Gore park your jet, park your Suburban, and turn your air up to 80'.

The Disenfranchisement of the Negros in the Dem's, but solace in the Words of an Old and an Irrelevant Pope

Historically the Democrat party has been one that has disenfranchised and repressed the Negro. There were periods when the Democrat party made it seem the Republicans were anti-Negro. There still exists in the Democratic Party members or former members of the Ku Klux Klan. They deny and renege their membership in said and the sad brotherhoods, but they are documented, delegated and dedicated to their sad philosophy of racial hiearchy.

It is dispicable that a women, a black man, a hog, or a flea ridden hound dog would treat one's opponent as a mound of feral hog feces. And yet the Dem primary nuzzles back and forth like two possums fighting over a peach seed.

The truly sad thing is while McCain is a war hero, he is also a transexual Republican. He has formed alliances with Ted Kennedy, and we are not talking about sexual but political allicances. However, we can take solace in one of the few oratories that Pope Victor II (April 13, 1055 to July 28, 1057), delivered to his loving masses:

Despair and Self-loathing in Armegeddon

Do you believe in predestination? Rationally, predestination did not seem possible-- we have Free Will and the right to act as one chooses. I always pondered such metaphysical mysteries when I accompanied my wife to church. It might be the endless acapella songs that prefaced the Sunday morning sermon that put me into a trance. I don't sing and since the Church of Christ did not believe in any type of musical instruments to accompany their hymns it seemed my tragic singing voice could be heard easier. The real reason I would drift off was my upbringing in the Brethren of the Kingdom of God which soured my tolerance for any organized religion. I was an equal opportunity heretic, from Baptist to Buddhist I was not buying it.

I am not an atheist, but more of a Quantum Deist. There is a higher power that can and does shepherd his creation in a certain direction. However, no person or organization can lead one to salvation--it is my responsibility to live a moral, ethical, and altruistic life and see where I end up. When I was five, I believed in organized religion and that the organization was the Brethren of the Kingdom of God, or "The Church" as it was termed by the brethren.

The Church was led by Harold Powers, God's Apostle. Trent Powers, Harold's son, was the heir-apparent to run The Church if Harold Powers was no able to fulfill his role as God's Apostle. It was unlikely that anything would happen to Mr. Powers as it was 1968 and the Tribulation was only four years away. The most obedient and worthy brethren of The Church would be whisked away to The Place of Safety, so as not to suffer the Tribulation like the "worldly" people.

At age five I believed in predestination. I did not know what the word meant, but the concept was cemented in my mind. We were God's chosen people so our future was assured. That was why I was so proud that I was fasting for the Day of Atonement for the first time. I was now one step closer of going to The Place of Safety.

The fasting was not easy. I remember my head was pounding nearly as bad as the time the bumble bee stung me near my eye. I looked at my two year old sister, Nicole with a mixture of anger, resentment and jealously. Nicole or Cole, as I had tagged her, was serenely sucking on a bottle of ice cold water while God's Apostle preached the truth in the October East Texas heat. I was 20 hours into the Day of Atonement fast and I was fantasizing about what I would eat once the sun set. I was proud of myself for fasting but with four hours until sunset and the increasing decibels of God's Apostle preaching "the truth"; my headache was worsening.

"Brethren, the days are growing short--even now Satan has put his minions in place. Soon Trent and I will go to Jerusalem to witness the deception of the Anti-Christ and die in the service of Jesus to bring about the Millennium. We will surely die in the streets of Jerusalem, but will miss out on the terrible Great Tribulation that will follow. If you do not obey and render your very hearts to God, YOU WILL NOT BE RESURRECTED AND RULE BY THE SIDE OF JESUS IN HIS KINGDOM. YOU WILL BE CAST INTO THE PITS OF GEHENNA.

I was sitting next to Mr. Allen and his breath smelled like rotten cantaloupe--this further increased my discomfort. Mr. Allen was a nice man who, at the best of times, had the scent of a very dirty armpit with fecal undertones. It was normally standard operating procedure to keep an empty seat between yourself and Mr. Allen, but today all of God's people within driving distance came to hear God's Apostle speak. It was standing room only and I was packed right next to Mr. Allen, who, as a habitual mouth-breather, was disseminating his malodorous foulness very effectively. Cole was escaping Mr. Allen's breath and much of the heat since she was lying on her pallet on the floor. Dad started making me sit up through the church services when I turned four, so now I was inside Mr. Allen's turd breath zone.

One benefit of sitting next to Mr. Allen was that I was able to get an up close view of his tremendous warts. The warts could be considered disfiguring, but I could not help being transfixed by the carbuncles. The largest wart was on the top right side of his head and was almost an inch in diameter, and then every one to two inches a wart protruded from Mr. Allen's head until the final wart nestled on top of his right eyebrow. In a cruel twist of irony, Mr. Allen had a very scant horseshoe of white gray hair around the sides and back of his head, but three huge coarse curly hairs grew out of each of the eight warts on his head. I had this overwhelming compulsion to reach over and pull one hair out of one of the warts, but of course I did not. I was very worried about these weird thoughts and compulsions I had, I knew I should not have bad thoughts or think ill of others; it could allow Satan to keep me out of the Place of Safety for my wicked thoughts.

I looked at God's Chosen People in the auditorium and was amazed how easy it would be to pick out a church member out of a crowd. Harold Powers made it clear that it was God's mandate that no woman should wear make up or be painted like a whore (I asked Dad what is a whore and he said it was bad woman and that is all I needed to know). Furthermore, women could wear no dress that rose above the knees. The men also had their own prohibitions, the hair must be worn short and sideburns could not come below the middle of the ear. Remember, this was 1968 and the "worldly people" were wearing their hair quite long. Likewise, bell bottoms were strictly prohibited since the drug taking, long haired, rock and roll hippies wore them. Aside from the outward appearance, I noticed that many of God's Chosen People were losers in life's earthly contest. Many had physical afflictions. Most were rather poor and several were the outcasts of society. Mom always told me it did not matter how God's people fared in the "worldly" domain, because soon we would be gods and rule at the right hand of Jesus. Dad always said the first shall be last and the last shall be first. That is probably why Mr. Allen did not have the warts removed. Once God brought Jesus back to rule over the Millennium all physical afflictions would be healed or removed. Also, if Mr. Allen removed the warts, it would show a lack of faith and might keep him out of the Kingdom of God. Of course, it would be fine if a Minister anointed Mr. Allen to have the warts removed, but if they remained that was God's will and he would have to live with the warts until the Millennium arrived. Again, I thought of predestination and wondered if Mr. Allen's warts had a celestial reason for their existence. Predestined?

Harold Powers, God's Apostle, continued his message of Millennial salvation. My earliest memories of "The Church" was thinking Harold Powers was God and Trent, being Harold's son, was Jesus Christ. It made sense to my three year old brain; the ministers always spoke of God the Father and his only begotten son. By five, I knew that the real God and Jesus were up in Heaven until Jesus comes back to cast Satan out of the world. Ironically, when I studied the faces of the other brethren it appeared that they thought he WAS God from the expressions of rapture, reverence, and awe. The brethren not only deified Harold Powers, they had complete faith in his message. Not only did they adhere to Holy Days that mainstream Christians would find strange if not heretical. The Day of Atonement was a good example, since The Church observed a majority of the Old Testament Jewish Holy Days, ate kosher, but also banned the observance of Christmas, Halloween and other "worldly" holidays. Finally, they gave 10% of their income to Powers all year long and additionally gave more offerings on the numerous Church Holy Days. It was expensive preparing the world for the return of Jesus and the casting out of Satan.

Mr. Powers was on a roll that day. We had been sitting on the torturous metal chairs for three hours and God's Apostle showed no signs of concluding his message.The auditorium was very hot because it had no air conditioning and close to two thousand brethren showed up to hear God's Apostle--all emanating heat, unbelievable body stench and an amalgam of toxic bad breaths that had no water pass their lips in twenty hours. To worsen things, my butt was sweating and a tremendous itch began that no amount of squirming could eliminate. I never new why they used the agonizing torture chamber chairs. The one upside were the chairs were excellent fart amplifiers.

My best friend, Richie, once purposefully cut a colossal fart on one of the rigid chairs during a church services; it sounded like 20 men unanimously hammering a tin roof with a ball peen hammer. Rich got five swats for breaking wind in church and the additional penalty of sitting on the malevolent chair with his sore butt for two hours, but WOW was it loud. Richie always claimed it was worth getting the five swats to create such a masterful example of fartmanship.

Mr. Powers always sounded like he had root beer bubbles in his voice. He was a good speaker, but the root beer bubbles never went away. Just then, Powers slammed his hand on the podium and actually woke a few people up. However, Mom suddenly stiffened and a deep guttural growl came from within her. She then stiffened even more and then flung herself on Dad's shoes. She then kicked and literally screamed as if she was in extreme pain while one of her feet kicked Cole in the head causing her to open her eyes and started crying. Dad did his best to subdue Mom and several helped carry her to the back of the auditorium to the bathroom area. I was very frightened, but at the same time embarrassed by her disruption of the services. Richie's mom, Aunt Nancy, helped Cole and I get to the area where Dad was cradling Mom's head in his lap as a minister prayed over her. I now know Mom was having an epileptic grand Mal seizure, after which Mom had a period of time where she rambled in very disjointed sentences, spoke to people that were not present, and many times she would digress to a point where she acted as if she were in school or she was sixth or seventh grade. There were many anti-seizure medications, but Mom would not take them because she new God would heal her.

The more stress Mom was under the more seizures she had. When she went to college, where she met Dad, she had some extremely bad gran Mal seizures. Word quickly spread that Mom was possessed. Her room-mate swore she saw their toothbrushes floating in mid air. It was all rumor, in some circles she was ignored. Looking back what frustrates the Hell out of me is a few simple pills would have stopped or lessened her malady. But, that is now, back then the ministers knew all. Some praying, a couple drops of olive oil, and Mom was better. HORSE FECES, there were many times Mom would have a spell in the middle of night and scare the Hell out of Cole, but, most mornings she would wake kind of normal. And I assure you no minister and his olive oil anointed Mom.

Was this my first inkling of the predestination heresy--it probably was. No anointing or laying on of hands made Mom's seizures stop. There was a point in the late 1950's when Mom took the medicine and it greatly reduce her spells. Yet, when she arrived at the College of the Brethren, she was strongly admonished about the drugs as God will heal anything that was causing her problems. It turned out to be unadulterated pig sheist. Even when I was five I knew God was very selective in his miracles. I fervently prayed for a TV to pop up on my wall so I would not be so bored while napping--it did not happen. Maybe I did not pray hard enough, but I fervently wanted the TV. Why did God not answer me?

Now Mom was starting to come out of her spell, but was still really incoherent, talking gibberish and such. And that is when I had the overwhelming and instant need to vomit in a monumental fashion. This was not the type of vomit that one could swallow if to embarrassed to vomit in public. My vomit in the next second was going to be projectile and vile vomit. I had no time to make it to the bathroom so I turned and let loose a torrent of incredible volume for one my size. Was this vomiting a sign of my family's predestination. Being ostracized by friends for going to Church on Saturday and not being able to celebrate Christmas or Halloween (after Dad was fired from the college and we moved from the only home I ever knew)--or was it the banning of lay brethren from dating College Brethren-- or was it the missing out on athletic Scholarships because I could not compete on Saturdays. Maybe, it was the minister whom drove me to the church National Track meet that wanted to strip naked each night and give each other massages. Perhaps, it was the ban on the Church's college girls--yet the vomit continued on its own volition. I could not stop it--it was as if I was taking penance for my future trials. The drinking on the Holy Day's when I was 16, the premarital sex (as much and as often as possible). It may have been my later conviction that the Church was a bunch of crap and the whole lot of the Brethren could bugger off. Maybe by taking that position God turned his back on me, but as time went on I realized that Gehenna was not coming and I was doing just fine thank you.

As the vomit started to reduce I realized I had vomited of one of the ministers stylish white shoes and a matching belt that gave him the conservative "mod" look. The minister looked at me with righteous disgust and took a handkerchief out to wipe his shoes. He then said between clenched teeth, "You little bastard have you ever heard of using a bathroom--go get me some paper towels to wipe this mess up." Unfortunately for the the white-shooed minister I had just enough bile left in my stomach to stain his stylish paisley tie with a rather garish yellow-green muck of indelible puke that could never be removed from the vain minister's tie. Richie later said that was twice as good as his masterful percussionist fart.

I did not know what a "little bastard" was, but the fashion in which it was spoken to me made me understand that one should shy away from being a "little bastard". I was doing the walk of shame since I had just puked on a rather important member of the Church. That was when I began to believe in predestination--It looked as Mom and I would miss out on the place of safety, her being "demon possessed" and I being a little bastard. There was still time though, it was only 1968, maybe I could do something about being a little bastard. In the end, 1972 came and passed and know body went to The Place of Safety, or the following year and the year after that. In fact the prophesied Tribulation never came.

I soon learned what a little bastard was and I was certainly not one. But, there were months where I could not sleep, because of my fear of being left behind.

Now I look back at those days with a little amusement. There were deacons and ministers that one could liken to Hitler's SS. They were there to guard the Church and the "Truth". Now, the Church has splintered as if one hit a china dish with a 16 lb mallet. I wonder how the ruling class of the Church of old was handling not being an important fish in relatively good sized pond. Now, nobody gave a crap if they were deacons or elders. Most of the splinter groups were just trying to put back a gospel that all could live with and the uber-deacons and elders had to check their enormous hats and egos at the door.

I'm still not sure about predestination--the flashing insights I had into my future life did seem to have some merit, but was it because I had been indoctrinated into the church or did I have a guttural mystical experience. I am not sure, and guess it does not matter as much as a warm bucket of spit. I do know what Hell is like and Hell on earth was the manipulation, mistreatment and malfeasance of the brethren of the "Kingdom of God". I got out when I was 18, but still have dreams of having to hurry so we could go to The Place of Safety. What of those that came to the realization that they had been fed forty years millenial mendacities.

The "Church" no longer exists in the unified form as it did in the 1960's. The vain minister I puked on was found dead in a closet in what seemed to be an act of self-sexual aphixisation. Both the Powers are dead. They had a sad and meaningless power struggle over who would be the head of the church--which was non-existent two years later. The minister that molested me is still preaching somewhere--I guess God forgives those that really repent, but who knows we waited for the end of the world and it never happened, so maybe he is still into naked full body rub downs with sixteen years old boys.

In the end, I guess none of this means much when/if we meet our Creator. I do know being a slave to predestination turns one into a meek, malliable, automotons. And if one is an automoton predestination may exist. I choose the road that the carrion eating, billboard, TV Sunday self-promoters do not take--that of extorting as much money and ego from their flock. There is a God and I visit him every time I go for a long bike ride or run, or just having a quiet moment with my daughter--unconditional love, the supernatural, celestial love only a deity can bestow upon a person. The clarity and euphoria after these sessions no man can create or cause to be created. Sorry Jim Bakker you cannot give me these moments of peace, satisfaction, and true belief in God. Besides, I can sing to myself while I am running without a soul knowing it. I lived through the Tribulation, the potential end of the world as we know it (and I feel fine).

The existential comedian side of me wanted to post the title "The Zen Year in Review" and then have no actual texts since Zen is about being in the moment the Zen year in Review would essentially be the moment you wrote "The Zen Year in Review", and as you can see by this long run on sentence it would be a joke that few would get and if it takes this much explanation to describe the humor it probably is not that funny. But damn, it really is clever for any twisted existentials with a Zen leaning that find self-apparent ironies prettied up with post-graduate terminology. As many of you know from my investigative work on the death of Gonzo journalists and my own creation of a new literary style, I will experiment, but more often than usual my self-acclaimed movement of post-modern Neo Gonzoism creations are the lack of understanding proper grammar, but in this case I think there is some actual content or "content" or meaning or "self-validation" of this spewing of words in the context of the Zen year in review. James Joyce actually used this style but in a more literary and literal style. I am using it as a form of Zen meditiation a stream of consciousness, that really is going through my head. Actually, I think that is what Joyce was doing with Finnegans Wake or the other one I did not understand. But my is more important at this moment because it is happening in this moment and it was James Joyce that started this moment in the universe in motion with his works, but I am less literary in the traditional sense with the insertion of my real life, or my literary real life, which could be different from my literal life, literally. So in a sense this is a confluence of Literary Giants such as James Joyce, Hunter S. Thompson, Lester Bangs and Alfred E Neuman. You know you are getting close to the inner Buddha when it gets easier to let the thought or "noise" of your ego blow through your mind, as in the above. But then there are the times when all ego noise and thoughts are quiet. Photographers call it the "Golden Minutes"-- the sun and clouds and shadows and well the universe align and there is this ethereal golden glow that makes the film or shots almost other worldly-- those shots, pictures or portions of film let me fill a little closer to the inner Buddha, or soul, or God, or Holy Guardian Angel, or Grand Architect of the Universe, or the mouse that ate the cheese. All is sorrow and laughing is what sorrow requires and as one Holy Yogi said, "If God did not have a sense of humor why would he when designing us put the recreational area so close to the toxic dump." The ego world seems to be returning and I am starting to have an overriding need to start another paragraph so this meditation is done, V out.

Marketing Religion

I live in a community where the Evangelists, ministers, preacher and others of the sacerdotal calling are compelled to have TV commercials and billboards. It seems that recruiting is more important than saving souls for their church to function.

This got me to thinking who does the best job of marketing their religion. I think the Buddhist do a great job as they teach all is sorrow until one gains enlightenment. So when you have a good day you think," Hey this Buddhist thing is not all bad." The Buddhist are savvy as they set the bar low in the temporal world--so when something remotely pleasant happens all Buddhists can rejoice.

Hinduism is one I cannot figure out. They seem to be seeking the same enlightenment as the Buddhists, but do it in a very different manner. They have all these different gods that they are to pray and worship to cure various elements and bad spirits. Hinduism is much like the Walgreens of religion, as they can fix what ails you and there is always one right around the corner. This is similar to what the Catholics do with their Saints.

It would be easy to throw Catholics and Protestants into the same bowl so for brevity I will. Where I think Christians go wrong is their continuous exclamations of the Kingdom of God being restored on earth. I was part of a cult that believed that for the most part the beginning of the end of the world would start in 1972. Most of the Sermons would be something like this:

That's great it starts with an earthquake. Birds and snakes and aeroplanes Lenny Bruce is not afraid. Eye of a hurricane listen to yourself churn. World serves its own needs dummy serve your own needs. Speed it up a notch speed grunt nose street burn. The ladder starts to clatter with dinner fight down height. Wire in a fire room represent the southern gangs. In a government for hire and a combat site. Lefty wasn't coming in a hurry.With the furies breathing down your neck. Team by team reporters grapple trunk tethered crop. Look at that low plane fine then. Uh oh overflow population cornered. But it'll do save yourself serve yourself. World serves its own needs listen to your heartbeat.Tell me that the reds are in the reverend in the right right? You patriotic patriotic slam fight right might feeling pretty psyched.

Needless to say the severe tones of these sermons toned down after 1972. But, besides the pre-mellinal view of Christianity--they just oversell it. You will pass on and be greeted by your family and loved ones and there is an unlimited supply of HoHoes since Angelic beings do not gain weight. This is just a bit of oversell, plus the only person who returned from heaven did not have it turn out quite so well, and while we are on that point, what was the Son of God doing with a Mexican name.

The biggest marketing quandary of the major religions is that of Islam. It is termed the Religion of Peace, but with the suicide bombing they are killing of their client base.

Maybe, religious marketing is not a point one should dwell upon. However, Jesus and his apostles did a lot of marketing. Buddhas' message spread throughout the Asia, there had to be some marketing involved to make this happen. I don't know how the Hindus did it if they did, but it is still around so their customer retention is laudable. It is the Muslims that have me in a quandary, they are rabid in their beliefs but willing to die and kill the infidel in the name of Allah. This is so they can primarily go to paradise for their 72 virgins. I think it is now time to do a statistical study on the deaths of Muslim virgins compared to Muslim martyrs. I have a feeling a few of those "virgins" are getting passed around a couple of times--just my opinion.

In Ahlahaha We Trust

When the Plymouth Brethren came to America they just wanted to be left the Frig alone. They had their way of worshiping and that is how they wanted to do it. This sentiment made it into the founding doctrines of our country. The most misunderstood is the separation of church and state. It is now believed that anything having to do with religion in public schools, governmental buildings our state colleges cannot be tolerated.

This view of the separation of church and state is complete crap and for the final time I will tell you why. In Europe and England there were state mandated religions, so in our new republic the founding fathers set up a barrier to inhibit government mandating a certain religion. Mainly, they were concerned with Catholicism, Calvinism or Lutheranism being mandated. Many of the founding fathers were Deists so in the technical sense not even Christian, but they were well aware of what could happen if the titular head of the government was also the grand poohbah of the state mandated religion. They had 1700 years of history to bear out the holocaust that could occur.

Now we are facing a religious holocaust brought on by those who want to be tolerant of a religion that has sects that are extremely intolerant. It is now in vogue to celebrate Ramadan in our public schools as an exercise in world culture and tolerance. This pig scheist is in direct contradiction of the incorrect version of the separation of church and state. If the incorrect version of the separation of church and state is to be enforced, Ramadan, nor other Islamic teachings should be allowed to be discussed in public schools. Why this is happening may be because of the perceived backlash of anti-Arabic/Muslim sentiments after 9/11. Nonetheless, the rule of law must be upheld, even if it is incorrectly enforced.

A more enlightened and multicultural approach would to spend two semesters on all world religions, INCLUDING CHRISTIANITY! As a student of comparative religions I have found that while the mythos may differ, most of the precepts of law and treatment of mankind are very similar. Even many of the martyrs of the Christos' are strikingly similar. Witness the crucifixion of Krishna from Hindu fame and that of Jesus Christ. While separated by thousands of years the allegory of the sacrifice of one for the providence of the many resonates today. Witness, the Hari Krishna's mobbing one at the airport and the Jehovah Witnesses mobbing one at ones house.

If we are not going to enforce the separation of church and state as originally intended can we at least do away with the religious bigotry of the educational politicos. More importantly, besides the tolerance one would learn from the study of world religions, perhaps many of our children would find peace and enlightenment in a particular religion. This may result in a reduction of drug abuse, abortions, teen violence and the basic ennui of most teens of generations of all ages.

This essay was not to be meant as a slam on Islam, at least the peaceful adherents of Islam, but rather the closed minded school administrators whose idea of thinking out of the box is trying on the new pair of Nike Shox.

US GAS Rolls On

I am upset and perturbed by Wyndham-Price's response to my proposal to the USOC, since it has not been formally proposed for competitive flatulence to be included in the Olympic Games. I do feel betrayed or should I say back stabbed, but if I would have been more prepared for a flatulent outburst I doubt that Wyndham-Price's stooge could have ever leaked my plan.

Yes, I think the United States could have supremacy in competitive flatulence, but not because we are the United States, but because we are a nation of immigrants made up of many habits, diets, and flatulent capacities. Simply, farting is not expelling stinky gas with a bit of musical chamber, but, more of an art where one must expel, insinuate and inspire in one act of intestinal and rectal art.

If competitive flatulence is allowed into the Olympics only for volume of timber, or quality of stench then competitive flatulence is not worth being an art of the Olympics. Competitive Flatulence is more about wine tasting and competitive gymnastics. Imagine Nadia Comenici doing a perfect dismount while urinating a "1967 Cote de Beaunne-Villages" in a shot glass while not dropping a spot outside the dismount area.

It is not about blowing wind, or letting fly with massive stench; it is about letting the eternal wind loose while one honors the flavors, scents and manifestations of Gaiea. My vision of competitive flatulence is beauty, while I fear the world's is destructive bombardment. If that is the case, the world is not ready, nor sophisticated enough to handle true appreciation of the flatulent art.

Competitive Flatulence in the Olympics

I have heard from the centre of "As Above so Below" that there is a movement to include competitive flatulence in the Olympics. It is my understanding that Fred Rancid is the main colour bearer of this movement. It is understandable that the United States would look for another sport in which they could prevail.

Most in the free world will not dispute that the 1972 U.S. Olympic basketball team received the green weenie in the Gold medal match. However, Mr. Rancid and the USOC, especially should tread carefully when they think they can dominate the world Farting Competition. Witness only the Eastern bloc Europeans whose sole diet is sauerkraut and blood sausage of Pygmy donkeys. Flatulence in these countries is not an interesting pastime, but a biological need of survival. Gats man, have you ever tried to pass a pygmy donkey hove.

Likewise, it is my perception that Mr. Rancid has forgotten his friends to the south. Oh yes, there are the Mexicans who mainly live on rice and beans, but that is Holy Water compared to the Haitians whose main diet is lava rocks and beaks of sacrificed voodoo chickens. Let us not forget the Jamaicans, their diet is quite healthful, but their consumption of ganja and magic mushrooms allows them to mystically expel the pent up frustrations of their ancestors.

I am an Anglophile, I believe our Scottish friends could compete. Lord knows the Irish would blow the perfect storm just to piss in the Queens face, but do we-- the UK and the US have the talent to overcome those that are forced, by their natural surroundings, have the ability to overcome that with our training and nutritional supplementation. I think not.

The Wonder Bread of Southern Rock

Lynyrd Skinyrd's Southern anthem "Freebird" is perhaps the most popular song of Southern Rock fans. However, it has suffered the same demise as Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven". It is interesting that fantastic songs can lose their luster by over exposure.

In the 1980's invariably there were several drunk pseudo-cowboys screaming "Freebird" at last call. Many bands complied and that was the beginning of the downward spiral of the Wonder Bread of Southern Rock. The Allman Brothers band may have a valid argument about that one moment when Southern Rock reached the pinnacle of Rock Stardom.

However, "Freebird" came at the right moment and the three hour solo at the end of the song did not hurt fan the fervor at concerts. But, then "Freebird" became trite. Cover bands used it for their closing set, movies used it to depict anything from entering the deep south to reminiscing the '70's. But as all trite things they soon run their course and vanish into the Kingdom of Triteness.

"Freebird" has had a recent resurrection used in an emotionally inspiring way that brings back the great memories that "Freebird" once evoked. "Freebird" was used in Forest Gump when his long time love, Jenny, coked out, is on the ledge contemplating suicide. The song has even made it into pop-culture iconic status as the Simpsons. Perhaps, the most amusing and moving use of "Freebird" is in Cameron Crowe's movie "Elizabethtown". The Skynird version is not even used, but the passion and humor is moving to any lover of the song.

But, for God's sake please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please quit shouting "Freebird" at last call at a local club. The original reason to shout "Freebird" was prompted by a DJ who thought it would be funny to do so at a Florence Henderson concert--I agree that is hilarious, but any other use of the shout should result in the immediate removal of the taint meat of said shouter.

Both of you that read my blog know that I have a habit of getting wordy. I think my biggest issue may be the quasi-synthetic flavors I give the Ionic rythms of my rhetoric blah abalablahbllahll.

Briefly, by brief I mean under 3,000 words, I am concerned about what You Tube and sites like it are doing to our written means of communication. OK, I know there is not a soul that is looking for perfect grammar on these boards, but should one get slammed for putting 3 sentences together? I gave a brief editorial on why I thought Freebird was the peak of Southern Rock anthems and was slammed for my thoughts. I did not think it was that cerebral nor did I feel I was writing down to the audience, but slammed I was.

I should be fair, I made some editorial comments on the "Infinite Godness" of Guns and Roses, and got some thumbs up. I am on the cusp of being a baby boomer and Gen Xer, but love bands like Sum41 and Mest, but think it's OK to give a 3 line written comment without being called mr. Smartypants...and by the way sir it is Lord Smarty, Third Duchee of Pants, and Protectorate of the Royal Garter.

State will now pass bills that will make it illegal or even more illegal (can something be more illegal--see undocumented workers versus illegal aliens). Mark one for the good guys these sweet lovable animals will now be raised to become family dogs rather than dogs that can bring a bull down, for which they were bred.

No longer will there be carcasses thrown aside because they are no longer needed by the owner. This will no longer happen to pit-bulls, but viable humans will be partially delivered and their brains will be sucked out of their heads and its carcass is thrown aside. How enlightened do you feel now?

Howl and scream all you want about the women's right to choose, but once that women is 8 months old in the womb she should have the same rights. Believe it or not I am not Anti-abortion. There are times they should be done, but since we are all enlightened and we use condoms and birth control their is little need for abortion--right.

I think PETA, GLAAD, and all Pro-Life groups, as well as pro-baby groups, pro-grandparents and pro- Aunts and Uncles should form a coalition to see that third tri-mester babies receive the same right as pit-bulls. After we take the first step of being equal to pit-bulls we can then start a campaign that third trimester babies are people.

I did leave out one special interest group that could also benefit from us not killing babies in the mothers womb, and that is all the straight parents that are unable to have children but would love to nurture one. However, when you can make an alliance with PETA, GLAAD and the NRA you will get some media coverage. I think most in the NRA would support not killing children in their mother's womb. Now that is a coalition PETA, NRA and GLAAD. Just imagine the parade all floats would be powered by hybrid vehicles. The NRA members could have their 12 gauge painted the Gay pride colors and wear leather thongs. Meanwhile, PETA would supply large amounts of carrots for the colorful GLAAD members to throw to the crowd. Keep your calendar open for this one

There will be many offended by this article but, I hope it will offend all equally. I have penchant for philosophy, esoteric studies, and world religions and have found it strange how these subjects are becoming increasingly similar to modern politics. This is not a new phenomenon, but during the Crusades religion was your politics and philosophy.

In more modern times Hitler amalgamated all of these components to take a Germanic people with a suffering economy, and still hurting from WWl to unite in this strange uber-cult of racial purity and the need for world domination so the pure Arians could begin the 1000 year reich. There is much speculation that Hitler was part of the Thule Society, an esoteric and some say Satanic organization. The point is mute as Hitler's plan whether Satanic or otherwise damn near worked.

What is interesting about all demi-gods, gods incarnate, or charismatic politicians is they are looked upon as Saviours. Another interesting thing about these so called "Saviours" is there seems to be a repetition in history or a mythos that raises them to a quasi-deity status. Their demise, or rather the story of their demise puts them in a pantheon of a select few.

I will not bore you with the story of Krishna. It is very ancient and its veracity could be questioned, but he was sacrificed on a cross and became a god. This occurred at least 1000 years before Jesus Christ suffered the same demise. Now was the Christ mythos used to spring-board Christianity from a small Jewish cult to a new religion which may eventually lead to power and dare we say it riches. Let us first examine what the political and cultural atmosphere was during the life of Jesus.

Until the discovery of the Dead Sea Scroll and the Qumranian texts, most of what we had to base the life of Jesus on was the Holy Gospel and some historians vague writings 100 years after the crucifixion. However, we now have learned that Jesus was part of the Qumarnian society, what would now be considered something similar to a monastery. Some say the society at Qumran was in fact the Essenes, but lets leave that discussion for another day as there is something much more factual and interesting concerning what appears in our bibles.

Several time Jesus was referred to as Jesus of Nazareth. Scholars have combed through the detailed Roman records of 30AD and there is no record of a town called Nazareth. So why was Jesus tagged with this moniker? Jesus was a Nazarite or more correctly a Nasorean, a holy man that kept very strict cleanliness laws. Another interesting dichotomy is the use of the word Messiah. In our modern English Messiah means a saviour that is sent from Heaven to save the world from the edge of destruction. However, to the Jews of two millenniums ago messiah meant a leader that would lead them from subjugation of the Romans, Babylonians, Hittites, etc. Was Jesus considered a Messiah--yes. He was a holy man that was intent on rallying the Jews to accept the Testament that was passed down from Jehovah to Moses and through the line of David.

In light of these new discoveries many Christians may go ballistic at the thought that Jesus was not the Son of God, the Holy Spirit and God. My purpose of this essay is not to demean Jesus or Christians, but to perhaps the veracity of the early church fathers who seemed to look at the Christ mythos of Krishna, Adonis, Mithra and many other "deities" that preceded Jesus. In point of fact, setting aside the matter of Jesus' divineness his teachings that are being extracted from the new found scrolls are thousands of years ahead of his time. He taught that all humans had the right of citizenship, yes including women. He believed that if mankind lead a pious life and the leaders acted in an ethical manner there would be a balance and peace that would be very similar to what many Christians will be established with the second coming of Jesus. Divinity or not this was a brilliant man and we should strive to establish his teachings, just as the founding fathers and many others have fought for.

So what does this rather esoteric history lesson have to do with American politics of the last fifty years? John F. Kennedy was a charismatic leader that was witty, attractive and showed leadership. He was also a philanderer and would pursue victory no matter the cost. Simply, he was human he had many excellent talents but had some faults also. Kennedy's presidency was not particularly outstanding, but he did avert the Cuban missile crisis and passed a Reaganesque tax cut (I know that is heresy to many of our left leaning partisans). Yet, Kennedy is thought of as one of our most inspiring Presidents--why?

Most of the credit should go to Jackie Kennedy--she instituted a Christ mythos, Camelot. King Arthur another mythical Christ like figure who had many years of peace and prosperity. Another, astute action by Mrs. Kennedy was mimicking the funeral of Abraham Lincoln. This subconsciously linked JFK with another great President that was lost too early. Again, a Christ mythos from the past elevates a person to the pantheon of the superior humans in history.

Barack Obama has many of the talents that JFK had. Will he become President? Who knows, but my fear is if he becomes President will we have another candidate for entry into the pantheon of the Christ mythos. While the radical race-haters have diminished in numbers, their intensity of hate has grown. I, like many, fear that Mr. Obama would not survive his first term.

Which brings us back to the teachings of Jesus. A people that live a righteous life in partnership with an ethical and non-self serving government could have a form of heaven on earth. That does not seem probable in the near future. My hope is their really is a Saviour in the pantheon of the Christ Mythos that will intervene. For now our politicians make the Sanhedrins look like the Red Cross. God have mercy on our souls.

The Question of National Pride

As the only state or republic that can fly its flag at the same level as the American flag, I am troubled by the recent capitulation of Oregon to the Republic of Mexico. When Texas fought for its independence from Mexico, it was not just white Anglo-Saxon settlers that joined in the battle. A quick visit to the sacred shrine of the Alamo proves that there were numerous heroes of Latin descent that fought the despot Santa Anna (not the legendary guitar shredder, Santana, but the General of the Mexican Army).

While Spanish was spoken by most Texican settlers, no Texan patriots felt the need to fly the Mexican flag over their captured territory. One wonders why Oregon is compelled to escalate the Mexican flag over the sovereign American flag of the republic to which they belong; especially, when this stature in flag position is based on the simple fact that some people at the Oregon Employment Department speak Spanish.

The fact that they are flying the Mexican flag is extremely insensitive and in fact racist. While Guatemalans, El Salvadorans, Panamanians and Hondurans have a similar racial composition, a mixture of Spanish conquistadores and native tribes they have neither pride nor interest in seeing the Mexican flag elevated over the Stars and Stripes. Moreover, if one insinuated that a Cuban, Dominican or Puerto Rican was Mexican or had any interest in La Raza would probably receive an insult in the most rapid Spanish spoken on the planet; damn they can speak Spanish fast. Finally, if one has a death wish call a Spaniard a Mexican, it would be safer to do the running of the bulls blindfolded with a gallon of sangria in ones stomach. The Spanish language does not equate to Mexican heritage.

To assist the Oregon Employment Department in a lesson in American sovereignty and multi-culturalism a contingent of Texans; White, Hispanic, Black and Vietnamese are prepared to descend upon the Department in question and enforce the United States Code, Title 36, Chapter 10. This action by Jean Work is arrogant and an insult to all Americans and all Latinos not of Mexican heritage. Ms. Work I suggest you remember the Alamo, Guadal Canal, Iwa Jima and the soldiers in Iraq. See you in a couple weeks when we lower the Mexican Flag and raise that of the Lone Star State. Maybe that will shock you into some sense of sanity or reasonableness.

My continuing swapping of e-mails with an Australian Pentecostal pre-millenialist has taken a mind blowing turn. Our discussion evolved to who can be saved. I posited that if a Jew accepted Jesus as his personal saviour, was baptised and confessed his sins he could be accepted into the Kingdom of God. My all-knowing sacerdote proclaimed if they were from the seed of Adam they would be accepted, but if descended from Cain they were doomed. For all Christians that may be reading this blog please forgive me for my following comment--What the Fuck?!?

First of all, most scholars agree that the myth of Adam and Eve and the Garden of Eden is a derivation from a Sumerian origin myth. So who is the uber-genealogist that has kept track of those in the Book of Adam and the Book of Cain. Likewise, recent research has proven that their is no racial genetical link between those that call themselves Jews. Which makes sense since the Jews have been scattered all over the Mid-East, Europe, Africa and Asia.

Now I know that the Jews are a holy people, but I think it would be a safe assumption to say that many Jews had relations with their hosts/captors/slave-owners. So maybe a once pure Semite blood line was now intermingled with peoples from the known ancient world. So my query is if there is a "Jew" that is in the Book of Cain, but he has Teutonic, Mongol and Greek blood, is he condemned from the Kingdom of God?

Another interesting aspect of the all-holy, all-knowing, Jew hating, "Minister of God" is his assertion that the Holy Bible is canonical and all words are inspired by the Almighty. When I asked him how many books are in the bible he quickly proclaimed 66. But, a quick search on Wikipedia shows that the Catholics, Lutherans, Coptics and King James have a hard time on agreeing with which books should be in the Bible. Combine this with the infighting among the early Christians, which contained factions of Gnostics, those that believed Christ was a holy man but not the Son of God, and those that believed in the Divinity of Jesus. Much allegations of heresy were thrown around and Constantine finally put the sandal down at the Council of Nicene, which for the most part gives us the extant version of our current bible, with a bit of tweaking.

One troubling issue is the discovery of the Qumranian scrolls in the mid 1900's which were written during and shortly after the time of Christ. Some things that negates the supposed "accepted" bible is James the Just was the first leader of the Church of Jerusalem not Peter. "St." Paul was not following the teaching of Christ but inventing a "Christian" mystery religion that appealed to the Hellenic/Roman culture of the time. The magical actions of the Christ put him in the pantheon of the Hellenistic Gods. However, the Nasoreans or proto-Christians knew that Paul's teaching had nothing to do with the Messiah's gospels. Witness Paul's abduction when he brazenly entered the Jerusalem temple to address his "followers" when they started to stone him but eventually just imprisoned him in a shack on a hill overlooking the Temple. The true believers knew that Paul was the "Spouter of Lies" that was repeatedly mentioned in the Dead Sea Scrolls.

Jesus' teachings were 1700 years before his time. He believed that all men AND women had the right to salvation. He believed as long as the faithful worshipped correctly and the King lead righteously, life would be in balance or Shalom. Teachings of great wisdom. I find it hard to believe that he would forsake his own "race" into the kingdom of Shalom.

And for those that still have a problem with this treatise ponder these two points. If the Dead Sea Scrolls prove that Jesus was not resurrected but died as a mortal, all of Christianity comes tumbling down on the one thing that made Christianity a religion--the Divinity of Christ. Likewise, Jesus of Nazareth was thought to be from Nazareth, but Nazareth did not exist until well after his death. Oh and one final point if Jesus was a Jew how did he get a Mexican name.

I had a very interesting exchange of posts with a former Mason who became born again and was now in the most infallible correct church of God Almighty. Our discourse was civil and for me enlightening. The Pastor was under the impression that the United States of America was under the evil influence of communism. I did not completely disagree with him as the Socialist movement especially the Radical Environmental Socialist Movement was becoming a threat to society.

What started the rhetoric was my contention that most Masons I knew were very moral men and gave great and good effects on the society. It seems that the biggest issue in most of the charismatic/Pentecostal groups is they literally translate the word of the Gospel. They have problems with Masons because they do not view the Godhead as a triune. In fact they actually conduct rituals and worship what would be blasphemous in the strictest sense of hard-core Protestants and Catholics; and to add another category Charismatic/Pentecostals whom believe the gospel is the literal translation of the word of God and Constantiniun Council of Nicene did little to change the inspired word of God.

Aside from the extant apocryphal writings that have been around for several centuries, the scroll from Qumran have enlightened scholars to the political, social and spiritual atmosphere of around AD 30. There was great lost when John the Baptist was done away with and this left a void in the Qumranian structure. A figurative pillar on the right was meant to be that of the King and the figure on the right was that of the High Priest. These things have been discovered and many cases refute the writings in the "Holy Gospel".

My quasi/seminarian/historical rant is meant to warn those that are cornered by enthusiastic Christian types. There is a whole new work of the time that alters and frankly demystifies the so called Magical works that Jesus did. In fact, Jesus was more of a revolt leader against the Romans and Sanhedrins...most wont believe that, but if you want to blow their mind ask them why he was called Jesus of Nazareth. Most will proclaim he lived in Nazareth. Ask them to find to find Roman or Hellenic presence of Nazareth before 60 AD. Jesus was a Nasorean or Nazarite--see Samson, a holy man.

This rant is not to take away from the incredible teachings that were passed along by Jesus and his brother James the Just. More simply, it is to ask those that spew gospel from a 2,000 year old bible with numerous translations and derivations to simply agree there is a truth out there, but are we, no matter how much faith, equipped to truly proclaim on high this is what God meant!

One post script that differentiates Christianity from most other religions is, if Jesus did not arise to heaven on the third day we are dead in the water. But, does this negate the teaching of love, charity, prudence, aid to ones fellowman? I think not. Buddha died, Mohamed died (or went away), Krishna was crucified, and rose again. Could it be that Jung was right and there is an archetype that pervades the human psyche that connects certain emotional, spiritual and even sexual sub-conscious emotions.

I ask our charismatic/Pentecostal/Assembly of God and all other sects of the Gospel that proclaim the bible is the virtual history and word of God to briefly suspend their enormous faith and investigate if just possibly that 3000 years of verbal communication and multiple translations into various languages may have lightly alter what was meant to be the true Gospel?

What I am learning is, when all the myths and early church cover-ups are sifted through--there was a true Jerusalem Church that was motivated and infused with the teaching of Jesus and James the Just carried on this true holy Gospel, until the Paulians bastardized it with an Hellenic Mystery Religion that has little to do with the true Gospel of Jesus. Thus, Pauls condemnation of the Phillipians, Galations; etc..

Open your eyes! Yes, use the bible as a reference, but also look at the writings that were rejected by the later church but were written during or shortly after Jesus' deaths. Likewise. become familiar with parlance of the Jews of that time. The English translation cannot be taken at face value. One must put the scriptures in the meanings of the Jews and Romans of that time.

I don't plan to convert anybody, hell I don't have anything to convert anybody to, but I would like some people to open their minds and look beyond the written scripture. The thought that a Levitical Jew would, in the case of Lazarus, touch a rotting putrefying corpse to bring him back to life, simply goes against all cleanliness rules of that time--especially that of a holy man. THINK ABOUT IT!

Pit Bulls, Doping Cyclists, The NFL, Abortions and Denial of Lesbo Adoptions

I never thought I would appreciate the code of ethics of the methamphetamine inspired Hells Angels. A great philosopher once said, " I much more trust the bastard that tells me he is going to stab me in the back, then the shiny toothed politico that is shaking my hand warmly while preparing to stab me in the back." The Hells Angels are pretty much the bastards that will kick, stomp, or obliterate ones arse if a certain line is crossed. Yet, after said arse is kicked, stomped or otherwise assaulted you will be welcome to have a cordial with the Angels.

The Hells Angels discussion may seem a bit outside the realm of the title of this posting but, I wanted to contrast the iconic bad boys of the last fifty years to seemingly valid organizations and their continual journey into ethical compromising and disambiguity. One may think I am referring to the NFL, Professional Baseball and the governing bodies of professional cycling, but I am not. It is no secret that these professional sports organizations have been slow to act on doping and performance enhancing agents, but they have continually tightened the noose on those that try to cheat the system.

Special props should be given to the Tour de France and several teams that self governed themselves and threw out their stars because of a hint of doping. Yellow Jersey owner, Michael Rasmussen, was kicked off the Rabobank team simply because he could not account for where he was several months before the Tour. As of this writing, there is still no evidence that illegal enhancing agents have been found in his samples. Let me stress, the Tour officials did not ask Rasmussen to vacate, HIS TEAM DID! Surely if cycling can self-govern, the Commissioner of Baseball can grow some nads and enforce some form of steroid enforcement--see Barry Bonds.

This narrative may make one think that it is my view that the NFL should immediately expel Michael Vick from the League for his pending dog fighting ring case. As horrendous and despicable as dog fighting is Vick has not been found guilty, nor is it a performance enhancing agent that will assist Vick with his QB rating. Additionally, if Vick is found guilty and given probation he should be allowed to play, if any team will have him---see Jerry Jones. Vick's real judgement will come when Karma puts him in the 9th level of Hell populated by butt-hungry dobermans and pit bulls; much more equitable than a two year suspension from the NFL.

Which brings us to the villains of the month--PETA or the People for the Ethical Treatment for Animals. Admittedly, they are dogging Vick to no end about his case, but if we are going to give animals the same basic civil rights as humans can we agree that this principle should be given to all mammals that do not have the ability to defend themselves? Yes, this is where I launch into the trite and tired defense of late term abortions.

The victimization of fighting dogs is not right and senseless. Yet, why should those that have late term abortions, by late term I refer to 8 months and older, be treated any different than Michael Vick. Those that opt for killing an 8 month old fetus are in some sense more diabolical than those that breed dogs for fighting. Firstly, with the all powerful condom now universally accessible how can there be any unwanted pregnancies. Secondly, if for some reason there is a condom failure it can only be considered sadistic to wait seven months to destroy what is at that point a human being. Finally, it is selfish and inconsiderate for those that opt for a late term abortion rather than allowing Gay and Lesbian couples to have a chance to adopt these viable humans.

Abortion is the law of the land and there can be no legal standing against the ghouls that kill their babies a month from being born, but again there is always karma. I believe PETA and GLAAD should align to extinguish all violence and torture to mammals and other animals. Michael Vick's actions, if true are beyond the pale of humanity, but what of a human that destroys another viable human being with apposable thumbs, heartbeat and brain waves because it was simply inconvenient. Vick is the bastard that tells you he is about to stab you in the back, but the late term abortion mother is the white toothed politician the nurtures and feeds you for eight or nine months and then sucks your brains out. One is evil the other supremely diabolical in a meaningless self-centered way. This world needs neither.

Which brings us back to egalitarianism of the Hells Angels and it seems the professional cycling world is adapting their version of self-rule just as their motorized brothers. For the rest of lost, directionless, selfish and simply brainless self-interest groups there is but one solace. The Beelzebub of the media, Mark Burnett, will forever trump any evilness, diabolism or sin that the aforementioned groups committed; for he, Mark Burnett, is the one that gave a platform to the Anti-Christ--Clay Aikens. May God have mercy on his soul.

What We Learned From the UK Summer of Terror

One must wonder why the UK has been the centre of terrorist attacks rather than the States. One must look at the magnitude of hatred for the States by the terrorist and put it in comparison to the hatred of the UK. One must look at the involvement of the States in Iraq compared to that of the UK and wonder why this does not colour the intensity of response by the Islamo-Fascist Terrorist. One can wonder and continue to wonder, but the answer is self-evident.

As unpopular as the Iraqi war has become in the United States there is one overriding result of which few speak. Since 9/11/2001 there has not been an attack on U.S. soil. There have been attempts but in comparison to that of the UK, it is minuscule. The American resolve and forceful response in Iraq has had an impact. While the Islamo-Fascists and Al-Quaeda have responded with suicide bombs and speeches full of bravado--their future is a descending quagmire of death and chest beating that is only propped up by religious extremism.

If one doubts that the U.S. action in Iraq is a reason why the terrorist have had no luck on American ground, look at the timing of the attempted attacks in the UK. The change in government undoubtedly triggered the summer attempts on many UK sites. While nothing occurred in the States. One reason may be the sturdiness of the American form of government. Few democratic republics can peacefully and efficiently change governments like the Americans. The UK may have proved they, like the Americans can also affect this change, but the terrorists felt the UK had a weakness, witness all the attempted attacks this summer.

Another reason for the lack of terrorist violence in the States may be the citizens themselves. While the radical Islamo-Fascists will strap bombs to their bodies and kill a handful of people, the majority of American citizens swear allegiance to their country and volunteer to die in their countries military actions. In the end, despite the rhetorical bravado spewed by the Muslim terrorists, they must feel a little fear and doubt--all suicide bombs and pending virgin paradise aside. Muslims are united by a religion but, there are sects and nationalities that create schisms. While Americans are united by a border of a country, but more importantly national pride and allegiance.

The UK has a similar form of national hegemony, but what separates the United States is the magnitude and fortitude in which they back up any threat to their nation. Yes, they are a world power, but 150 years ago so was Great Britain. The lesson--most Americans believe the war in Iraq is not all out enough. The fight is being executed in a politically correct fashion that has little to do with shock and awe. Yet, when compared to the remainder of the Free World, the U.S. response is "Awesome". The UK, and other allies, should take a lesson from the upstart Americans--the Muslim terrorists are.

We Don't Need No Sticking Bajjjes

Disintegration of all police departments would seem an insane and anarchical stance, but as Americans we are very close to this now. Parking tickets, speeding tickets, public intoxication, showing your johnson in public, etc., etc., etc. These are all things that our police now enforce and rightly they should, but what about laws on the books that are not being enforced.

In Houston illegal immigrants that are pulled over for a traffic violation that do not have legal ID are released because the Houston PD does not want to get involved in immigration. Several members of the Border Patrol have been prosecuted by the testimony of illegal immigrant drug dealers. Their biggest crime, keeping illegal aliens out of our country.

Maybe we don't need to do away with the police department, just the people that police the police departments. I would posit one's on the street police officer would do the right thing the majority of the time if it was not for the involvement of the anal, counter-productive, paper pushing policy makers. The policy makers have no street experience, nor do they really understand what faces our country. What they do have as a unifying force is a political agenda dictated by their puppy-dog leash holding politico masters; see Nancy Pelosi.

Carlos Mencia's solution to not experiencing a terrorist attack is to fly Southwest Airlines. As Carlos claims, "Just tell a black guy he will not be able to land in Oakland." Simply, the Southwest passengers will not restrain you or kick your ass--they will do you bodily harm until the threat is removed and in most cases this means death. Being from Dallas, where Southwest was born, I can especially attest to this when free beer is given for a late arrival.

My point is, the police and most citizens will enforce the common law as it is now known. Conversely, beliefs of special interest groups such as the ACLU are not accepted nor believed by most. In the infancy of this country there was a sparse law enforcement structure, but there was a firm and consistent common law structure that the citizens embraced. In fact, when law enforcement needed help, the citizens would assist in catching the criminal. At this point, we cannot return to this structure. First we must allow law enforcement to do their job--without the bureaucrats and Milquetoast policy makers.

I have watched Carlos Mencia from time to time, and in the beginning I was not sure he was for real. His uber-candidness about Islamo-fascism made me think he was poking fun at any patriot who believed in the war on terror. Recently, I viewed one of his specials and realized it is no act.

Carlos appreciates the fact that he is an American. Likewise, he is proud of his Mexican heritage, not Hispanic--his parents were Mexican. Carlos once said," If there is a black joke I can't tell in Oakland, a beaner joke I can't tell in East L.A., or a cracker joke I can't tell in the South-- I don't have the right to tell the joke". Carlos does not use super-insulting racial slurs. However, you will find his use of "Beaner" sprinkled frequently in his act. He has the right he is one, but more than that he is American. Like all of us.

Carlos is the reincarnation of Richard Pryor in the sense that he has dis-empowers the political correctness that has caused us to edit our speech so much that it is hard anymore to be considered free. Carlos is especially critical of Islamo-fascist, and yes, he will refer to terrorists as Arabs. While our government has taken much effort not to "paint" all terrorists as Arabic, Carlos' message is simple--our terrorist enemies to the greatest extent are Arabic. There are terrorists of all nationalities, but Carlos is doing topical (and patriotic) stand-up, and our immediate enemy are the members of Al-Quaeda.

I doubt a white man could speak with the candidness of Mencia, which is a shame. However, the important thing, just as Prior did in the 1970's, Mencia is breaking the fascist/communist practice of political correctness. Yes, we need to treat all groups as equal and with fairness, but Mencia's philosophy is, you want equality, be prepared to be treated equally. If one does not understand what Carlos means, You Tube his bit on wheelchair occupants and amusement parks.

I can't believe what Carlos Mencia says. I hope there are stand up comedians everywhere taking notes. What he does is more than side-splitting humor. It is patriotism and democratic-republicanism in its finest form.

After obscurity in the world of Blogs, I was extremely surprised to see many emails, some vehement to recent blogs posted on my site. I wish I could take full credit for sudden influx of reader response, but much of it is because of guest writers.

The most polarizing of guest blogs was that of Garth Windham-Price. Garth's main theme was that of maintaining American sovereignty, but feared that a combination of Islamo-fascism and the lemming rush of Mexican and Central Americans across the border threatened the said sovereignty. His solution was to return to a civil anarchy that expanded the American frontier and bonded like minded (and yes mostly Anglo Saxon people) to preserve their republic. Nonetheless, here are some responses to Windham-Price's essay:

Where does that English bastard get off telling us how to run our country. I notised he took great joy in the supposed revenje we were getting for kicking their ass in the Revolootionary war. Just a warning I think some bloggers have ADD and barely make it past the title of the article, so I received many responses that my article was historically inaccurate. Yes, I know that--it's called PARODY, look it up and try using it some time, rather than describing what a bummer day because Jennifer did not hold your hand walking home with you from Junior High. However, there were some informed and interesting responses which I will post below:

I had a hard time getting through the first three paragraphs of your testament to Hunter S. Thompson. However, when I read that D.A. Blylerly claimed Thompson was a great writer, but not always a great journalist I quickly became very interested in what you had to say---even though your overuse of quotations, parenthetical statements were very cumbersome. I did see the parody and analogy you were making between traditional journalism and that of the Thompson-style journalism, call it Gonzo or otherwise.

One point Blylerly made is taking coke, Quaaludes, and tequila does not a writer make. But there are many quality bloggers that use the gonzo style that are entertaining, informative, and quickly surpassing the relevance of the "Old Media". Keep up the good work!

I was abhorred at the Hunter Thompson article the was published in "As Above so Below". So called, Gonzo, journalism breaks every rule in proper journalistic guidelines. One does not interject their personality into a story, but simply reports on what occurs. If a quote is made to one, it is permissible to state that when this reporter asked Mr. SOandSo, his response was "SoandSo". Never should one interject their own personal experiences into a true journalistic article. Likewise, concerning the new style that the writer Victor was trying to establish by the overuse of quotation marks, parenthesis and other non-sensible punctuations it was a travesty to the proper English language. Please refrain from posting any inane and ridiculous articles.

Matt, You make some really good points. Crowley was raised as strict Plymouth Brethren. The only book he was allowed to read while growing up was the bible. He was especially enamored with Revelations--as a form of rebellion he claimed to the beast whose number was 666. The Price of One's Soul

I was driving to Walgreens with my yorkiepoo's head stuck out the window enjoying life. It was really a clarifying moment in my life. Shadow, my yorkiepoo, was having a banging time just smelling the air and letting his ears flop in the wind. I on the other hand was contemplating quitting my job where I would earn around $300K per year. The money was big and lord knows we need it, but I was concerned that these simple but satisfying moments as I was enjoying with Shadow would be limited if not outright missed.

I am an Executive Analyst for one of the oldest companies in the US, which means I could be in Tampa, FL one day and Seattle the next. I have no problem travelling except when it cuts into my weekend and this will. Normal procedure is getting home late on Friday and leaving around 6:00 pm on Sunday night. The problem is I am custom made for this job--it is what I do best, but I have an 11 year old and a wife with rheumatoid arthritis. When I saw Shadow's ears flopping I realized my decision was made.

Shadow's ears were not what caused me to make a decision, but they were the catalyst to me realizing seeing my daughter's growth and development and being away from my wife. All my co-workers were divorced, in the process of getting divorced or single. What is the price of my soul? I don't know, if I could make $300K hanging around Houston I would do it in a heartbeat.

My family, and even that damn crapping machine, Shadow, are worth more then $300K. The common knowledge states that there is some point where on will sell one's soul to make the big bucks. Me, I am not sure, two to three weeks away from my family is not worth it. Is there a price probably, but until my child graduates from high school I need and will be around.

Will I ever make $300K --probably not, but I will be there to see her run track, play soccer, dance, read poetry. These are sacred things and as the Visa ad goes priceless. Pursuit of happiness is one of the bill of rights that I'm chasing. Frankly, my soul may be worth very little, especially if one believes in pre-ordination. So my "soul" function in life is to assure that my wife and daughter are happy. I also need to provide for them , which the $300K proved. However, those that were making that money were snorting it, had 3 girls on the side or just got caught by their wives and the 3 girlfriends.

No big shocker here, but there are some who would really give the family up for the cash, My hope is there are many more who would give up the Case for the quality life. I thank God for my life, wife, daughter and those floppy ears of Shadow. God does have a sense of humor, one must open your eyes and look for his signs. I will regret passing up the cash, but never think twice about it after watching her walking for her graduation. As Garth Wyndham-Price said last week while quoting an ancient but wise philosopher,"Never Mind the Bollocks". I would add to that Rock and Roll Will Never die, and finally, Might as Well Jump. Jefferson and Locke would be proud. In fact, I don't feel so bad for a guy that just lost $200k this year--For those about to rock I salute you!!

It has been said when trying to figure out all things political one only need follow the money. Never mind that this statement is normally repeated by trite wankers that do not have a defence of what they posit. On a micro level money indicates some leanings by special interest and pundits. On a macro level however, it is much more complicated than a western capitalist coloured view of agenda motivations.

In China there is a thousand year plan for their purpose, following 1000 years of politically motivated yen distribution would be a serpentine if not impossible path to follow. The Mohammad Fascists are positioning themselves in the same manner. The flow of Saudi currency is quite confusing as they respectfully kiss the ring of the West while they stab it in the back with their fundamental Islamic groups.

More diabolical than the perennial list of nasties is the current amnesty that is being proposed in the States. This seemingly gracious proposal will help many hard-working, deserving, third-worlders grab a piece of the American dream. Is there really any losers--only the sovereignty of the American citizens. Being from the UK, their is some dark amusement in seeing the "Colonies" being sold down the river by their oligarchical political crown. The monarchical action of diluting citizenship for political expediency without the American citizens being represented is very similar to why the Revolutionary War was fought against Great Britain.

The American Revolution was fought for many things, but primarily the theme was freedom. Once could argue the Revolution was the peak and ultimate statement of the age of Enlightenment. Lockeian/Jeffersonian rationalism was essentially civil anarchy. Natural Law endows all humans with rights that no crown, government or religious movement can deny--although it has been tried for 6000 years. Thus civil anarchy is essentially one protecting ones rights while respecting the rights of all others.

Anarchy conjures visions of the Anti-Christ and pink haired punks with safety pins through their cheeks. Yet, if one looks at the western frontier of the Colonies in the 1700's there was essentially a cooperative anarchy. Not such a bad thing. Political Journey

Changing your views as you change through life is normal. Politics is an area where people seem to migrate for most of their life. The accepted school of thought is you start out very liberal and become more conservative as you age. I think the baby-boomers are the model for this school of thought since I am from the lost generation “Gen X”—I was different.

I started being aware of the political process during Watergate. I did not understand much except our President and many other politicians were crooks. It did not take long for Jimmy Carter to become President and I became a student of politics and economics. The classic “Liberalism” of Thomas Jefferson was what I believed in politically and economically. Much of Jefferson’s views were being the Republicans and Libertarians. At age 16 I was a Republican. This was kept to me as it turned off most girls and at 16 girls were much more important than which ideology should lead the free world.

Eventually, as Carter’s Presidency started its’ circular ride on the Toilet of Bad Presidents, many became more vocal about our free market attitudes and Classic Liberal theories. Surprisingly, many called us fascists, because we were “right wing”. The Nazis were fascists and were so right wing they greatly resembled communism. While we were promoting less government in our lives, less taxation, and more personal freedom to choose how we run our lives. My rights stop your nose or property—that was the gist of my beliefs.

When Ronald Reagan was elected it affirmed that my beliefs were correct. The Iranian hostages were released, the economy turned around, inflation faded while taxes were reduced. The military was overhauled and equipped. Eventually, the Berlin Wall fell and the air escaped the Iron Curtain communism was dead—in Eastern Europe.

Now as a middle-aged Gen Xer, I’m still a Classic Liberal and am worried a dieing breed. The Republicans are left of the Democrats of the 1960’s. The Democrats are—well, just a mess. They are very social leaning but are trying to use the War in Iraq as the new Viet Nam. The end result of all this is our own social freedoms and people who try to protect our social freedoms are now under attack. Houston Police are ordered not to bring in Illegals if they are involved in a wreck. Border Patrol agents are being imprisoned because of testimony from Mexican drug lords. Cameras are being set up everywhere to protect us from the “terrorists”. Sovereignty seems to be an issue that few are ready to deal with—will we remain the United States of America?

I don’t think I have really journeyed that much in the last thirty years, but I know the politicians have. Would a Democratically controlled Congress pass the tax cut that JFK signed? Hell would a Republican controlled Congress sign it? We are currently living in an oligarchy of political parties that seem to have their own survival as their primary goal. It is still representative and we can still vote them out but the alternative, in most cases, is less desirable. Kudos to Joe Lieberman for hanging in there. A party of Liebermans could do a lot for this country. Screw the party system—it’s time for Democratic Anarchy.

The View from the Dark

I really had a hard time choosing sides over the Rosie vs. the Trump fight. Rosie with the over sized Mongolian head; Trump with the cotton candy comb over-- oh how to choose. Their TV shows had little to do with how much respect I had for them, both suck on a universal and god-like scale. I especially disliked The View, no matter who was on it, because it was a bunch of self-important, yapping, biotches that rarely made a semi-literate point that would assist a mentally challenged prison bitch in life scoping skills.

Rosie's addition to the show did little to make me hate The View more, it did make me disrespect Barbara Walters a bit more. It did reinforce that Rosie's intelligence was the quotient of her mouth size divided by her head size. For the students that were raised with New Math this means that Rosie is ate up with the dumb-ass, ( and sadly, unlike Anna Nicole, is extremely punishing on the ocular ooglers). Rosie's continued running of her mouth spewed forth ignorance like Chris Farley's ass on a steady diet of pickled eggs and rotting malt ale. Rosie's ignorance was only exceeded by her consistent spewing of said ignorance.

Last week's tragedy at Virginia Tech was in some respects not as sad as the rants made by Rosie O'Donell and the released Alec Baldwin rant. The saddest part of Rosie's rant is the disrespect of humanity. Her stance on late term abortion is an insidious soul-killer. Any parent that has scene the internal pictures of a four month fetus knows it is a living human. Rosie, because of her life choices, will never be able to feel the fetus grow and mature in her "body". To her, children are commodities to be acquired at one's own convenience. Thus sucking the brains out of an 8 month old fetus is OK if it is convenient for the mother.

Early term abortions are probably as sinful as late term, but late terms kill babies that could survive outside the womb at the time they are murdered. Medical procedures do not negate murder. After Alec Baldwin's hate spewing diatribe to his 11 year old child would he be free of guilt if he performed an 11 year old late term abortion on his "ignorant pig of a child"? Obviously not, a viable human whom is terminated is murdered--medical or likewise.

These arguments have been hashed over for decades, but the most disturbing portion of the whole Rosie episode is her obvious lack of the understanding of the separation of church and state and her prejudicial discrimination of certain peoples of faith. Rosie's reasoning for the Supreme Court's ruling on Late Term Abortion, was the court's religious make up. She did not believe that it was valid that the court made a ruling on this issue while five of the Justices are Catholics.

Separation of church and state is the restricting of a state mandating a specific religion. The English told the Pope to piss off so they would not be under the Catholic heel. The Catholic heel was replaced by the Anglican heel in England. Then many, mostly the Plymouth Brethren told them all to piss off and moved to America so they could worship in the manner they wanted. Many of the forming fathers were Deists rather than Christians so they understood and desired independent worship that no governing body could regulate. That is THE separation of church and state.

So five Justices that made a decision on a ruling that happened to be of the same faith is NOT state and church united. It should be said that since they happened to have faith they may have believed in a soul and decided late term abortions would kill those souls. It does not matter if this is the case, because most of the world believes in a soul. So Rosie's delusion of a Catholic conspiracy to hijack the pro-abortion cause is the same excrement her discrimination of Catholics is made of. Is Rosie anti-Catholic? No she is pro-death, when it is convenient and fits her elitist "theology".

The Virginia Tech mess is decidedly more tragic, but it is demonstrably sadder that small minded people like Rosie and Alec Baldwin are seriously listened to concerning things they have no knowledge or expertise about. I can have an organization corrected and moving in the right direction in six months, but do not feel I have the right to do stand-up in front of 500 people or make sweet, clean love with Kim Basinger. I am damn sure I could do both, but would suck in at least one of the tasks.

Fame does not give one the right to pontificate in self absorbed righteousness, it just gives one the right to pontificate. Now here is my version of Rosie's post hoc, ergo propter hoc reasoning. Alec and Rosie are both noted liberals. It seems that in their cases they are full of hate and want to kill the innocent, undesired or inconvenient. Therefore, there is something about Liberals that does not allow them compassion, but seems to infuse them with unreasonable, vicious, barbarism. Probably not a proper conclusion--in general.

If a soul reads this I'm sure I will quickly be labeled a born-again right winger. I'm a Deist in the universal sense and a free market anarchist--I'm not sure which is my political belief or my religion and they may be the same, but the point is we are individual souls that cannot be lumped together because of one set of beliefs. I wonder if Rosie was an admirer of JFK? Would have been damn hard for him to become president with world full of hers.

As a post script, why is there ever a need for abortions--at least late term abortions? As we were taught in the 1980's the all powerful condom would stop these issues. Why have they forsaken the Trojan Christ?

Why God Let It Happen

Just as many bloggers discussed the tragedy of the Virginia Tech massacre. I'm sure many are now querying why God would let something like this happen. This is a question that is asked every time some tragedy occurs.

What I am having a problem with is the the trinity of the God head. Jehovah is pretty much a vindictive and jealous god the commandment his tribe not to commit murder, yet a few chapters later he commanded the Israelites to wipe out the Canaanites. Jehovah God ostensibly is the creator God that brought the earth into existence, but was a bit of a bastard according to the Old Testament. So could it be that Jehovah God let this tragedy happen to whip into shape the Christians into obedience. If they do not obey his commandments retribution and punishment will be wrought upon some innocence to teach the remaining Christians a lessons.

Then there is Jesus the Son of Jehovah God whose New Testament was in polar opposite of God the Father. Jesus was about sacrifice and forgiveness. Is there some connection between God the Father's massacre and the concept of Jesus' sacrifice? It seems in polar opposites of what the testaments and messages meant, but perhaps there is some celestial meaning behind all this.

I'm really having trouble with trinitarianism, especially when it comes to the Holy Ghost. If it was God the Fathers plan to coordinate with Jesus to teach mankind a lesson of sacrifice and obedience was it the Holy Ghost the put into the mind of the assassin to execute the massacre. If this was a plan of God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Ghost perhaps there was some lesson behind all this. But if this is the case what a harsh lesson to be taught.

Somebody, please enlighten me on trinitariansim. I know the Pentecost was the first occurrence of the Holy Ghost, but it seems to me there are three separate entities and perhaps they all have different agendas. Is Christianity really a monotheistic religion?

Trite Virginia Tech Blog

It would be a good bet that the majority of blogs in the last couple days commented on the Virginia Tech tragedy. And well they should it was a needless loss of life and an occurrence that is happening with greater frequency. The knee jerk talking heads immediately pontificate on the need for more and better gun control. The dichotomy of the talking heads is that the majority of the single gunmen that unleashed the holocaust on the students in the various Universities where the shootings took place is that the perpetrators were foreign students or immigrants that were not able to purchase firearms.

Great Britain which has one of the strictest gun controls laws in the world has a double digit increase in firearm crimes. Gun control does not control those that have the insidious impulses to destroy their fellow brothers and sisters. Rather, it refuses the right of the law abiding citizens to own a fire arm--which by the way is protected by the now withering Constitution of the Unites States.

Educated, informed and well armed citizens could decrease the impact of these tragedies. Ironically, the talking heads that are in favor of gun control have body guards that are well armed with semi-automatic and/or high caliber fire arms. This is not about hunting this is about the protection of the citizens from terrorists and yes in extreme cases out of control government.

As a post script of this tragedy a similar occurrence took place in a college in the Appalachians. The terrorist started shooting wildly at any and all students that were in his sight. Two students went to their pickup trucks retrieved their shotguns and blew away the crazed shooter. Total death count three--still sad and a tragedy, but what would have happened if the brave students did not take the initiative to take down the crazed gunmen--perhaps another Virgina Tech tragedy. It is trite, but gun control is a steady hand with a kill shot to the heart.

The Freedom to Edit Speech Revolution

It started years ago, mainly on college campuses. It was known as "politically correct" speech. Certain forms of speech were discouraged not because they were vulgar, but because they may insult some form of a minority group. These groups may not be racial or religious, or transgender or transvestite or transpecies. If a man was was trapped in a ladies body, or outfit, or soul of a horse--any type of lanquage that would be disparaging to these "protected" group could lead to severe ramifications to those that made the disparaging remarks.

A good example of how politically correct speech can be confusing is the case of how we described the Americans from African descent. Originally, in polite circles the term Negro was used, a derivation of the Spanish word for black. In least polite circles a bastardization of that word was used and was meant as an insult. Another term that was used around the same time was colored--I don't think that was as insulting as the "N" word but I imagine it became disliked in the South as there were many signs posted that said " No coloreds served".

Then in the 1960's Afro-American became the name that was in vogue for sometime. Concurrently, Black was a title that many were OK with. Then in the 1980's African-American became the title of choice among the black folk, but at about the same time it was becoming acceptable for blacks to call other blacks "niggahs". It was definitely not acceptable for any non-black to use the "niggah" term. However, it did become acceptable for everybody to call Americans of African descent blacks, again. Could it be that soon it will be acceptable to use the Spanish pronounciation of black? While it is spelled Negro, it is pronounced Naygrro. As one can see it is hard work staying politically correct and this example is for only one racial group.

Some other examples of PC changes are illegal immigrants are now undocumented workers. Short people are vertically challenged and bald people are folically challenged. It seems the worth in using PC terms is not to insult groups and their members. In the case of the African Americans there should be some sensitivity as they had to put up with centuries of crap and the "N" word was a vestige that abuse and crap. But can we now settle on an agreeable term to speak of your community.

Now the remainders of these "protected" groups should be ashamed of trying to equate their "struggle" with that of the Black community. Yeah, it is tough being a short person but as long one does not misuse the term midget, dwarf or munchkin; nor bowl said small person against his or her will things should be OK. Also, as a member of the folically challenged, I have heard it all and chrome domes get over it--especially those with the comb-overs.

Now, in the case of the transgender, transvestites, trans-species and transvampirical-crack whores; let's work a tiny bit more on getting our lives together and then we can concern ourselves with being insulted by possible insults or slangs, (is it possible to insult these groups?). After all, if a person, especially a high profile celebrity, all one must do is go to rehab and all is forgiven.

That is what is refreshing about the Don Imus situation. In the Ann Coulter case she was using a joke to kid John Edwards. Isaia Washington may have used the perjorative term for homosexuals in angry outburst but one did not get the impression that these terms were used in hateful attitudes. Imus on the other hand has exuded hate for many years--just ask Howard Stern. Calling the Cornell female basketball team a bunch of "nappy headed ho's", exemplifies racism and hatred. However, Imus has the right to be a racist and hater just as his employers have the right to suspend or fire him. Likewise, the sponsors have the right to pull their add time from the Imus program.

What is refreshing about this case is Imus did not really cave into some hypersensitive poverty pimp. He is feeling the retribution for his stupid and needless comments. True Jesse Jackson, and Al Sharpton were involved in this case but much of that is because of the nappy headed insult Imus used. He deserves the crticism and sanctions he is receiving.

There were cases earlier in this year that tried the same tact for the sole purpose of political ruin. Additionally, in the case of Coulter and Washington they are members of so called protected groups--females and African Americans respectively. However, in the case of Coulter even though her comment was made in jest and she is a female trying to crash the glass ceiling, more importantly she is conservative and that negates any protected status other females would enjoy. Nonetheless, while Coulter's comment may have been considered mean-spirited by some in the media, it was not uttered in hate. I wish the same could be said for Imus.

Imus had no political motivation to utter his perjoratives and worse of all after stating that the black members of the team were nappy headed he threw in the stereotype that they were "ho's". It's a good thing Imus has that ranch for the kids with cancer out in New Mexico, otherwise he would have the karma of Stalin. Come to think of it wasn't there some heat about how he set up his tax exempt status on the ranch?

For many years I thought Imus was a cynical, but intelligent talk radio show host that used his crotchety persona as an act for his radio program. However, the recent occurrences reveal that not only is Imus a crotchety arse, but a self-centered wanker that should be off the air. If there are any sponsors left on his show please boycott the products. A much easier boycott would be not to watch MSNBC, when was the last time you watched it on purpose.

The trend towards forcing celebrities and the laymen to speak only in certain terms with certain language is appalling, but using the public airways to spew misogynist racial hatred to innocent young female student athletes is sub human. Even a turkey necked, ancient relic, that reeks of cow shit and mothballs, whose brains is pickled by the copious amounts of illicit drugs and alcohol that were consumed in the 1970's should know better. Know better, yeah know better, yeah no better, no better-- he is no better than Klansmen that perpetuate this type excrement. Raise the bar Imus, although you probably can't get your fake hip over the bar.

I am for free speech, but Imus is quickly moving into mean spirited Alzheimer inspired drivel. Quack! Quack!

Imus Conundrum: Sacking, Rehab or Execution

Once again a white man has uttered words that have insulted or demeaned a group of people. Drastic actions must be taken to correct this crime against humanity. In this particular case, radio personality, Don Imus called the Lady Rutgers basketball team a bunch of of " nappy headed ho's". In the quick bit of research I was able to perform many of the Rutger players were indeed nappy headed, but in a quick straw poll of the girls not one teammate agreed to a monetary transaction for sex. Clearly, the Rutgers girls were nappy headed, but it is doubtful they were ho's (the possibility does exist that the wobbly turkey neck and the scent of embalming fluid that precedes Imus, may have greatly discouraged any possible "ho's" from accepting his offer).

In the previous weeks there have been cases where people have called other people gay or homosexual, and even though the assertions were correct the "offending" party entered rehab to cure themselves from the intoxicating feeling of calling a spade a spade--- and I mean spade as in the suit of cards. I cannot afford a thirty day stint in rehab. But in the Imus case, the Rutger's players may have been nappy headed but there is no proof the were ho's. Thirty days of rehab is simply not enough. CBS and MSNBC are discussing a two week suspension, but I think clearer heads will prevail and Don Imus will be put to death preferably by firing squad.

While many will argue that Imus has sponsored the program for children with cancer on his ranch, bringing joy to the last days of terminally ill kids or in some cases helping others go into remission, these self aggrandizing gestures cannot camouflage the underlying attitudes of disdain for ho's. Similarly, since these comments were heard nationwide and live on the radio I think it is safe to forgo the trial and move on to the execution faze.

Thirty days of rehabilitation effectively removes the disdain and guilt of homophobia when offendors call actual gays homos. But, in this case, I think it is highly appropriate to immediately dispose of Don Imus. For those that are a bit squeamish about execution we could also give a frontal lobotomy and remove his vocal chords to effectively squash this hideous menace to society.

If the above actions are not taken within the next two weeks we will all meet at Rockefeller Center and complete the citizen judicial action. God and Joan Baez would want it this ways.

By Titles, I do not mean some popular serials that will have on going characters and plot lines, but titles--the name of the best-seller. Below are my first five:

Guilty "Gonzo" Bloggers Killed Hunter S. Thompson --a look back

Hunter S. Thompson has been dead a little over two years and his ashes still have a street value of well over $1,000,000. I actually authored this line and unless one reads on may consider this "joke" a witty and "hip" joke. However, the structure of this joke is straight from Chevy Chase's Generalissimo Fransisco Franco is Still Dead bit and the punch line to a Keith Richards joke that I think Dennis Miller did--form and function 100% SNL. I wrote the joke to fit the theme of my "essay", and yet was only inspired by 25 years of SNL watching. (I have probably watched more, but, my late 1980's depravity has me uncertain.)

Why the Hunter S. Thompson interest? Actually, my interest was in Lester Bangs, who was labeled a "gonzo-journalist", but not the original since that would be... yes, Hunter S. Thompson. Stating the obvious, no disrespect Lester, but does writing record reviews make you journalist? (I know he was more than an album reviewer, I saw "Almost Famous".) As many of the printed eulogies stated Thompson was not really much of a journalist, but he was one helluva writer. D.A. Blyler pretty much wrote the same thing on rawstory.com, but he was "miffed" because some bloggers thought snorting coke, drinking, writing and taking quaaludes (normally in that order) made them a "gonzo-journalist".

Mr. Blyler deserves his "miffness" (and yes, "damn it", I am over doing it with the paranthetical statements and "quotes"-- I am developing a whole new "style" of "journalism"), especially since the "old" media ( "the" Times for God's "sake") gave credibility by association with the bloggers and the original Gonzo. Blyler made it a point to let bloggers no they should be overjoyed with what they accomplished in the realm of "Journalism"...

Bloggers...journalism...what the Hell? OK, blogging, the internet, Bill Gates--all in one basket combined with CNN, talk radio and time (as always) change the landscape. Hunter S. Thompson was a superb writer that did it differently, as did Kerouac, Twain, Faulkner, Tolkien, etc. Maybe what we should be asking ourselves is why does Dr. Thompson inspire bloggers so much? Thompson's writing was good, sometimes great, but, it exuded the free-spirit, the counter-culture, freedom...things that brought down the the Berlin Wall and many writers (not just bloggers, dammit).

The first paragraph really could have been used to sum up this whole train of thought. Those that create things we like people who inspire us and many times we would like to create like them. When it is all said and done all we have left as our legacy as writers are the words we wrote. ("FYI", (only 3 hits as of this "writing"), but if this "newer", "Freer" style catches on it is documented, by God I can prove it, it's on the "internet").

A Sublime and Celestial Philosophy for a Utopian Societ

Achem's Razor is a theory that states the best solution to a problem is usually the simplest. Quite by surprise I viewed an example of this on Mad TV with guest host Bob Newhart. The patient came in and explained her issues to Bob Newhart said, "OK, are you ready for the therapy...STOP IT!" The patient was shocked, but Newhart explained stop the behavior and you won't have the problem any longer.

Think about it, if we just stopped all the despicable behavior we would have Heaven on Earth:

Revelations, 9/11 and REM

"In a fire, representing seven games, in a government for hire in a combat site." I will not reveal which verse of the bible this comes from, but clearly it is prophetic and could very aptly describe our current situation. Another troubling scripture is,"Overflow, population, common food, but it will do. Save yourself, serve yourself. World serves its own needs..." As Christians we should not be surprised by the prophecies of the coming tribulations.

Recently, rabbinical experts found an apocryphal document that revealed absolute shocking proof of Heavenly prophecy. The initial verse translates to," That's great, it starts with an earthquake, birds and snakes, ( and a word that translates to aeroplane or flying machine)." Clearly, we have already felt the impact of the earthquake with the horrific tsunami that struck South East Asia. Likewise, the scourge of the bird flu continues to spread over our planet. Finally, the reference to the flying machine(s) can only be a reference to the 9/11 tragedy. Even more convincingly a few verses down closely translates to"Look at that low flying plane! Fine then-- Uh Oh." This must be the final prayers sent to God by those trapped in the unthinkable hell of the twin towers."

Now more than ever, we must tithe, pray and support our fellow Christian brothers and sisters. It is more important than ever that we financially support our Churches to prepare for the upcoming tragedies that will be inflicted on the Holy chosen one's of God's flock. Likewise, it would be wise for all to start stocking up on canned and freezed dried goods to help us make it through the Tribulation. As a Christian Brotherhood we will do our best to care for all our members, but there may be times when one must be self-sufficient. Your tithes are greatly appreciated , but in this dire and eminent crisis all financial support you can spare, is not only appreciated, but absolutely needed.

These words and experiences were very similar to what I experienced in the 1970's and '80's. I was mostly convinced that the world would be taken over by a charismatic Anti-christ that would start WW3 and pretty much put the world in the proverbial crapper. In the meantime, if we did not sin and gave enough money we would be whisked away to a place of safety where we would live on Cheeze Whiz, Vienna Sausage, and 6000 year old bird seed. This would only last seven years since Christ would return and do the atomic-butt drop on the Anti-Christ and seal him up where fallen angels go after being atomic-butt dropped by the big man, you know what I mean Brother!

Few if any read my blog so I may get a bit heretical in my rants, but I do have a point to make. There are extremely intelligent and influential Religious leaders. This is not limited to Christians as most of us are now aware, but my experience was Christian so they will be the scape goat.

Firstly, let me exclaim I am a spiritual man that believes the example of Christ's life is one for which we should all strive. I do have a few Gnostic tweaks thrown in with my mostly orthodox Christian views, but I mainly be that all men should have so much love for Christ that he literally becomes an entity that we can converse with.

That being said the first three paragraphs of this "parody" illustrates how motivated ministers can take, the Bible, current events and even lyrics of REM songs to instigate their flock into giving more, attending more, and even recruiting more members. Yes, the "biblical and apocryphal scriptures" that were quoted to show the signs and symbols of the coming of the Lord came straight from an REM song.

After the first verse that spoke about earthquakes, birds and snakes, an aeroplane--the next line is Lenny Bruce is not afraid. I'm no biblical scholar but I believe Lenny Bruce was a cutting edge comedian that overdosed in the 1960's--could be prophesy, but for what purpose?

The final verse of the REM song," It's the End of the World as We Know it and I Feel Fine", would challenge some of the best Preachers to turn this into an inspirational, yet fear-mongering message of monetary manipulation:

Ok, maybe some of the more talented Propagandist Preachers could bend this into a twisted message of the Loving Christ and Saviour of Humanity and Mankind return, but can we get real just for a second. If said Preacher received this message, the knives must be some type of retribution supernaturally, or otherwise. Secondly, God is going to cause a Continental Drift Divide for this retribution--it would seem that no matter which continent he caused the drift many innocence would be killed (unless of course he slid France into the Atlantic, those cheese eating surrender monkeys). But, what retribution would this have to do with the people listed.

Leonard Bernstein, talented, sinning, bi-sexual, composer---dead. Leonid Brezhnev, Godless communist, with some of the most impressive eyebrows in Soviet history--dead. Lenny Bruce, again cutting edge, but vulgar comedian that died of an overdose of heroin, this would also put him in the--dead category. Finally, Lester Bangs, a gonzo rock and roll journalist that was respected for his candor and integrity, sadly he died of an overdose of darvon and valium while fighting a cold--once again Lester would seem to be in the dead category.

So what is my point? There are some gracious, dedicated, clergymen that truly want to lead their congregations towards the way of God. Likewise, their are some power-hungry, greedy, bastards that care about growing their church by preaching whatever message is popular or resonates with the majority of the members. I experienced this first-hand, but if you doubt my story flip through some of the channels on Sunday and you will find a couple examples of what I'm writing about.

As an aside,the church my parents made me attend announced in the early 1980's that it would be OK for Hispanics and Anglos to date and/or marry, but African-Americans and Asians must not date outside their respective races. There was a quote from the bible that made this all legal and binding, but rather de-humanizing. Likewise, we attended church on the Sabbath, Saturday, just as the Jews. There was another biblical answer to why we should do this, but some years later I asked my wife's Great Uncle, a preacher, why most churches did not worship on Saturday, but Sunday. He of course had a very reasonable biblical reason answer that made me not sure which day was the real day of worship.

Then I heard the Muslims worshipped on Friday and I quickly came up with a plan for a four day work week, being a Sabbatarian, with Protestant leanings, who believed the Prophet Mohammed was the true emmisary of God. That plan did not work out so well since I previously tried to convince them that peyote was a sacred sacrament that I needed to use daily to please my Lord, Xiapitipical. I may have had a chance of pulling this off if I was not working in a Catholic diacose.

OK, so finally the summary, Evangilists quit the white supremist hate, Islamo-fascists quit the hate of the infidels, Red Sox fans quit the hate of the Yankees, Buhddists and Hindus do you hate anybody--although you know a good steak would not hurt. Oh, and the Catholics you control most of the Christian world--let's do something about that German Pope--I'm not completely sure this 1000 year Reich thing has completely played out.

Why Congress needs a lesson in Myths

I am currently reading Joseph Campbell. He can be a challenging read. He makes great jumps from Jewish mythology to Algoquin mythology and ties it together with moral challenges that we face in the inner-city. Campbell is intelligent and should be read by every person in congress if not the government in total. It is clear that this will not happen because of time constraints, fact finding missions and probably the congressman's inability to understand Campbell's intelligent prose ( this of course excludes your congressman, as you would not vote for a dolt that was only interested in trips to Dubai, of course this is obvious).

A point that Cambpell made that struck me like a bolt of lightning were myths taught mankind what was proper societal behavior. The mythology of the tribes and societies passed along what the Gods, Demi-gods, or Devils found appropriate and acceptable. In our advanced society we do not need Gods, Demi-gods or Devils to guide us in appropriate societal behavior--we have Judges, Senators and Congressmen to guide us. They are not immortal, but do believe they are infallible, god-like, beings that knows what is best for all of us. This collection of civil servants cannot even agree on protecting our own sovereignty with Mexico.

Campbell explained that the reason for the initiations of many tribes was not only to celebrate the graduation of the boy to the man, but the initiates responsibilities to the tribe-- supplying food, shelter and protection from rival tribes. These initiations were accompanied with many mythic stories and examples to enforce the sacred responsibilities of the initiate to his tribe. The myths were the societal glue of the tribe.

The United States had some exceptional myths that are now being debunked by the post-modern dolts. Manifest Destiny was not a myth, but an idea of mythic proportion which resulted in the US from sea to shining sea--along with some iron-clad sovereignty. Washington crossing the Delaware may not have been as romantic as the painting but it gave the colonies a rallying point and the United States a future quasi-myth to beat our chests. Andrew Jackson, by all accounts a real arse-hole, kicked butt at the battle of New Orleans, the only problem was the war was already over. Nonetheless, the Battle of New Orleans is another bragging point in our keepsake chest of mythology.

We now have a government that uses wars for political posturing rather than dominating the enemy and ending the conflict. Our "civil servants" cannot agree on how or if to protect our border with Mexico. The tribal mythos enforced sovereignty and prepared the tribal members to fight to the death. We have those tribal members, the volunteer army, but unfortunately our leadership is busy trying to invent their own myths.

Five hundred years from now what lessons will we learn from Al and Tipper inspiring Love Story, or his invention of the internet. Or, what about John Kerry's Schwarnegger-like destroying of the Viet Kong, while taking injuries in his rampage. Or what about Bill Clintons.... ah never mind you get the point.

Does God Hate Gays?

This is a question that has become very relevant in the past few years. One question that should be queried is does God exist? This is considered blasphemy by many evangelicals. They are viewed as heretics and should be put to death for their sins. Does this not go against one of the 10 commandments. OK, this is the dichotomy of God's commandments and his supposed followers.

Firstly, God. it would seem, does not have hate in his heart. Secondly, his devout followers believe that the bible is a virtual story. So, God is full of love, but the devout shall stone and execute those that are sinners. Fuck, this is some tough shit. God forgive me for my profanity and the devout bugger off.

Here is the reality of this essay, Gays have an agenda that will give them civil rights such as the African American. While Evangelicals have to battle this Gay agenda. Come on does this sound like some celestial plan that an omnimpent Deity would propagate?

Some answers to the queries proposed. God is probably not real pleased with buggery since it will not propagate the human race. God or some supreme deity probably exists, sure the scientist have theorised we crawled out of the mud and are now creating quantum computers. The earth may not have came to creation as Genesis documents. However, the evolved pollywog's that crawled out of the mud must theorised that there is a Deistic archaism that may have had a celestial evolution. Finally, the evangelical agenda is holy and righteous, but by whose terms. Perhaps, the evangelical righteous and holy beliefs are worshiping the deity of the mud crawling polliwogs, that science has theorised.

Finally, does God love gays, who the hell knows-- does he even exist, who the hell knows, do evangelicals have the right view on Gays-- who the hell knows. Do polliwog's have a supreme deity, yeah probably so. Do scientists have a correct theory on evolution, depends on the polliwogs deity.

All I know is saying faggot does not mean that God does not love them. And 30 days of "therapy" does not remove or negate years of hatred or racism. Isaiah Washington or Ann Coulter be damned , this is after all just a colloquialism God loves the Gays polliwog or anthropic,. Isaiah and Ann probably don' have any true hatred for the Gays. And the Evangelicals are all wankers and discriminators --or maybe not, this is obviously a clear cut case philosophical pantheism. Faggot??

I am troubled by all the people entering rehab for uttering the "F" word-- no, not the word you are thinking of but "faggot". I do not condone the use of the word, but I also believe people have the right to be oafs and use the term. Now the "F" word has become the new "N" word. Soon we may be able to converse by just using the letters of the alphabet.

What is troubling about this whole trend is many of the crackers are really trying to do the right thing and use the politically correct term. Noticed I used "crackers", it's OK-- I am one. I watched a great commentary about Black, or is it African American, or is it Black comedy. The show gave some great insight into some of the motivations of many of the comedians. The most compelling story was that of Richard Pryor, who was a successful comedian at a very young age. However, after a sabbatical he came back with a completely new act that used sexually explicit language, drug usage terminology, and yes, the word nigger.

Pryor was a genius. He crossed over racial lines with his cutting edge humor. He would in the same bit make fun of how white people would talk and walk when they encountered "niggers". For those offended by the "N" word I will only use it in quotation marks when it was used by Pryor or the other comedians.

To me, Pryor's greatest contribution to comedy and society is he made us laugh, at ourselves and each other. What Pryor realized, is by saying "nigger" is he removed any connotations or power the word once held. Think of that, essentially, one man changed centuries of thought and culture by being funny as hell and saying "nigger".

I hope one can see the similarities between the "N" word and the Faggot situation. The latest "scandal" is Ann Coulter's use of the word while speaking about John Edwards. Now, it is no mystery that Coulter is polarizing, but it was used in the context of a joke--besides John is kind of pretty and Coulter could argue that she was comparing Edwards as a straw man since that is one of the meanings of faggot. Admittedly, it may not have been in the best taste, but so goes the sparring of politics.

What is more demeaning and bias is the pure lack of the press and other Pro-homosexual lobbying groups to completely ignore the multi-cultural connotations of the word "Faggot". In Great Britain they have something called a Large Faggot worm--in my view that is much more demeaning than one's sexual orientation. In Great Britain the word "bloody" is frowned upon--why? There is also a pork meatball by the name faggot, although that may be more descriptive of Newt Gingrich than Edwards. Also the Brits have the term wanker--what the hell is that? In the South the term bugger is used as, "that was one tough bugger", but in many cultures the terms bugger and buggery are extremely frowned upon.

A derivative of faggot is fag and it has its' own meanings around the world. Some examples are, cigarettes, the Guatemalan Air Force, a German Ball Bearing company, a terrorist group in the Canary Islands and the evil Film Actors Guild depicted in Team America: World Police.

My point? Everybody just get over it. One of our most sacred rights as Americans is to be arseholes, (what is an arse in the US), and say ignorant and sometimes insulting things. The beautiful thing about this is the offended have the same right. Not to mention that if this hyper-sensitivity was expanded worldwide we would need another UN just to negotiate between countries to avoid nuclear annihilation and international chaos, e.g. US 'we have the rights to demean homosexuals with the term fag'; Germany' no we have the trade mark on our ball bearing company, Americaner sheistkopfs'. Then famed furniture maker Silas Kopf would file a complaint against the Germans using kopf as a pejorative. As one can see, it would quickly spiral out of control.

My Grandpa, a Swiss immigrant, who I'm sure received some pejorative slurs in his time, like many Swiss had Calvinistic leaning. For those that don't know much about Calvinism, it was essentially a Protestant movement against the Catholic church. So Grandpa would ask, "Who Poped?", anytime somebody broke wind. My point is only our family would understand the connotation of Grandpa's colloquialism. Grandpa compared the Vicar of Jesus Christ, Supreme Pontiff of the Universal Church, Bishop of Rome, Prince of the Apostles, Servant of the Servants of God, and pretty much the Grand Poobah of most of the Christian world to flatulence incarnate.

While I don't think Grandpa was a hater. However, those groups that do hate could easily use his tactic to change the idiom of said groups that they hate and continue on with their occult language of hate. Hitler did prove that language could create movements and hate, but conceptually it was thoughts and ideas that were right for the time that created his movement. Do we really think, that in any sane world that 30 days of rehab would replace a philosophical lifetime of hate or discrimination?

Our American birthright and destiny is the right to speak like this. It's not the most perfect society, but it is the best (sorry I can't cite the famous person that said this, but Winston Churchill might be a good bet). No race, creed or "group" should be immune from the pejorative terms, but it is hoped that respect and dignity would be given to all. The beauty part of this system is the demeaned have the same right to demean the demeanors--maybe it would be easier if we should just try to get along. For those are demeaned by any hate group, they should use Richard Pryor's example and simply disempower the pejoratives. Pryor did not accomplish this by showing every occasion of some idiot spewing bad language and manners on the talking head shows and all the cable news networks. Witness the "growth'" of the KKK and the Black Panthers; withering ghosts of the past.

Now that my rant is over I want to apologize to any members of the KKK, Black Panthers, Adolf Hitler, Grandpa, the Vicar of Christ, Catholics, Calvinists, Silas Kopf, any German ball bearing company, the conceptual UN needed to handle the hyper-critical word-nazis, the Guatemalan Air Force, any terrorist group in the Canary Islands, buggers, wankers, any person resembling a straw man or British meat ball, Richard Pryor, niggers, faggots, crackers, fags, and large gelatinous British worms and hope all is forgiven. It was with great excitement when I accepted the Al Franken assignment. Franken has roots to the original Not Ready For Prime Time Players and therefore, kinship with a long line of flatulence connoisseurs. Enjoyment of quality flatulence may have gotten its start in 1978, When Dan Ackroyd, John Belushi and Bill Murray sequestered themselves in Ackroyd's apartment with several cases of dark beer, bratwurst and pickled eggs (and some said some excellent hashish to encourage the supplementation process). These sessions are legendary for the volume--both quantity and auditory explosions, and more importantly the development of the feortan standards.

Ackroyd and Belushi realized that there were undertones, peaks and palate profiles that like a fine vintage were unique to certain combinations of the "grape" and certain "seasons" to create the vintage. As many can believe, Belushi was the driving force behind the session, but while Ackroyd was a close friend it was actually Murray that gave Belushi a run for the money. While Belushi and Murray had roots to Chicago, they had a good understanding of beer and bratz. More importantly they had the Chicago attitude, much like Chicago blues, that exalted in unabashed expulsion of the vintage that was coming of age in their intestinal breweries. Many believe Ackroyd's Canadian heritage kept him from attaining the level of the Chicagoans from simple politeness and perhaps to much hashish intake.

One can see why this writer would be excited about the Al Franken review. He has a bloodline. He goes back to the beginning of SNL and may have even participated in many of the quality feortan sessions that were regularly held. Another sometimes visitor of the Belushi sessions was an occasional visit from Garrett Morris who added pickled pigs feet, stuffed pork chops, and an oft forgotten component of competitive farting--boiled cabbage. In fact, Jim Belushi was present at one of these sessions and related to me that his brother was at the top of his game when ingesting the pork chops and cabbage but decided to forgo the pickled pigs feet. That night Garret Morris was the clear artist of the night. Garret's audio phonic volume was impressive but the layers of essence is what separated him from Belushi and Murray, who was a far third (Ackroyd had passed out from ingesting a high content of Guinness in hopes of "priming the pump").

This preamble would not be complete without discussing Chris Farley. Farley may have been the most talented farter in the history of SNL. It was said that his essence nearly always had the proper scent profiles of sulpher, distance skunkiness, mild fruitiness and the smoky undertones of a freshly lit Cohiba (with some say a nice contrast of vanilla). Unfortunately, Farley was not as controlled as his SNL forefathers and so many say his best work was never accomplished. It was said that Farley was a Kamikaze Farter (kamikaze translates to Divine Wind), but Farley's sheer volume of continuous expulsions made it hard for many to analyse, evaluate and enjoy his work. Farley is worth mentioning simply for the similarity between he and Belushi, quality farters that passed before they reached their pinnacle.

My theory was that SNL, especially in the early years of the 1970's, fostered an attitude of unabashed indulgence and spirit--a nice combination for quality flatulence. Therefore, I was confident that Franken would have great stories of the early years of SNL aromatic explosions and be able to demonstrate a nice sampling of his own work. The disappointment was as pungent as a Rosie O'Donell blast after a corned-beef and cabbage binge in a sleeping bag. Franken may have lost his Feortan muscle after all years of grueling live TV, or perhaps, he never had it.

We met at a German restaurant in Manhattan, which I believed would lead to very promising work. However, once Franken arrived I started to have my doubts. He ordered a club soda--did not consider a beer; asked about a vegetarian plate and requested all broccoli and cabbage be cut from his order. Broccoli can contribute a certain sulpherness to some farters' work, but a small amount does start ones "mojo" and is considered one of the finest primers for intestinal rumbling.

Once the meal was complete, we retired to patio to get down to the task at hand. Firstly, it took Franken for a better part of an hour to produce an initial, pathetic hummingbird squeak that produced no essence, not even a hint of things to come. In fairness to Franken, after two hours he did start to produce many expulsions, but most with little quality and those that tickled the palette were very, sweet and fruity. Likewise, there was an overriding essence of charcoal, something I have never experienced. There was no bottom, no peaks, no skunkiness, no essence of garlic and none of the mild fecal flavor needed to produce even and average vintage.

As time went on Franken's quantity reduced and there was not even a hint of evidence of flatulence. To my dismay, Franken continued his consumption of club soda, so there was never a hope of the hoppy skunkiness that a quality German brew could contribute. Finally, after three hours the action was over. Franken bid farewell and I had three Poulaners and the sausage sampler. In 20 minutes my warm-up work had out distanced Franken's most pungent run of the evening.

I do not regret my meeting with Franken, even with the olfactory disappointments. It is not often that one has the chance to have a face to face with one of the original SNLer's--even if they were a minor player in the beginning. The bar was set high by the legendary SNL farters. I never expected Franken to produce at their level, but my disappointment was not even once did Franken give us a reason to offer a boisterous, " Well excuuuuuse me!'.

Most at this time of year contemplate Peace and Goodwill on Men, but with the wars and hodgepodge around the world some of the more religious may consider we are in the end times. Many traditions have a recurring theme of an end time and a savior that would rescue them from the tribulations of said end time.

As the above verse from Revelations illustrates, great tribulations were prophesied for those that did not believe. The irony is there are many other faiths that speak of unbelievers being struck down, such as the original Passover night in Egypt. Another rather cryptic, but foreboding scripture comes from Ezekiel 48:38, "The other night I tripped a nice continental drift drive. Mountains sit in a line. Leonard Bernstein". Is this Lion of Bernstein another savior?

These interesting recurrences of the mystic savior that comes forth to save the "chosen" people is much older than 2,000 to 3,000 years. The Aryans that pushed into the Indian subcontinent had a God (or demi-god if you prefer) named Krishna who was crucified on a tree 3000 BC. This sacrifice was to forgive the transgressions of his people. There are even some parallels to the "Chrystos Mythos" in the incensuous story of Isis, Osiris and Horus. Long story short, Horus is relieved of his deitific "schvauntz", by a rival god which Isis searches for and discovers and impregnates herself with the phallic member of Horus. The result is Osiris, the Golden One, son of the father and technically first born of a quasi-virgin mother.

Here is my point; God is perfect right? So back when he made the perfect universe, V1.0, his perfection may have been similar to an Intel 486. This was the best there was and damn if it was the last chip that would ever be needed. But then God woke up one night and scratched something on a pad and the next morning may have some ideas for a new more Perfect Universe in which his many facets of Godness would not be emulated by animals and the sub-gods needed to explain facets the animal personifications did not explain. He would have one chosen people that would be blessed by worshipping just one god.

Shortly after God helped the Israelites with their exit policy from Egypt they were given 10 simple rules to follow to maintain their status as the "Chosen Ones". Clearly, the perfection in God's plan was the simplicity: 1 god; 10 commandments and everything is copacetic.

Well after 2000 years of obeying, not obeying, mixing cultures the 10 simple rules became clouded. And then Pharisees and Sadducee's got into their legalistic translations of what God's "simple" religion and rules were and that is when the gold, frankincense and myrrh hit the fan.

So God decided to cut the crap and send his son to a virgin to be sacrificed and forgiven for all mans sins. OK, that should cut complexity, the legalistic translations, the Pantheons of gods to be worshipped to glorify the one God and all the other unneeded trappings to pay respect to the Architect of the Universe and transcriber of perfection. God would simply have his son sacrificed and every human being would be forgiven for their sins.

This was a perfect plan and the first 100 years it was masterful, but then the "church fathers" congregated and decided which holy writings should be included in the canon of Christianity. The Gnostics were to mystic, so their writings must not be included. There were other writings that clearly named Mary Magdalene as his favorite apostle--this simply would not do for the church of Peter. So former Pagan, Constantine, finally had a Holy Bible compiled for all to worship--what God meant to be a simple statement of love, "Hey I love you, I have sacrificed my son, now do good and get your shit together." Turned into a mish-mash of sects political struggles, ornate ceremonies and even some down home, ass kicking torture.

Then the prophet Mohammad came along and tweaked the whole Judeo-Christian thing with some legalism, fervent prayer and not just a little ass-kicking. But on the whole it was in the same vein as the original Egyptian, Judaic, Christian perfect religion that always got screwed up by man trying to improve on God's perfection. Sects emerged, Shiites, Sunnis and Wahhabism and now, once again God's perfection is meddled, muddled and mightily stomped by the unruly rain boots of mankind.

Well we see where we are now Christians fighting Christians; Christians fighting Muslims, Muslims fighting Muslims, Muslims fighting Jews, and even some Jews fighting each other. This does not even dip a fang into the Goths, Vampires, Wiccans, Witches, Satanists, Satanic Nihilists, True Golden Dawn, Esoteric Golden Dawn, and the various and changing Crowleyana sects of the month who lay claim to the one and only true path to enlightenment.

I have chosen to convert to a pantheistic monotheism. Their will be no church or human organization. My thought is to learn what the Big Guy had in mind each time Perfection was created.That is before we screwed it up and if I learn that, things should be OK. Seems like Buddha might have said something like this," It's the end of the world as we know and I feel fine...fine"

Because of a recent surgery I had about six weeks of being homebound which gave me much time with seemingly little to do. However, it allowed me an opportunity to catch up on some reading; studying the esoteric arts; practicing the Great Work and watching way too much TV. This pot of differing stimuli and some pretty damn good pain killers combined for an illuminating contemplative stew.

This period had a monastic quality which allowed me to reevaluate my life. I strove to become closer to my Higher Power, studied the ancient esoteric mysteries, and sadly, became more familiar with American popular culture. The path of the Great Work is inspiring to me because no matter how far I am from Kether, I know I am moving in the direction of humanity's birthright.

However, the neo-Chamberlain response to the Lebanon crisis is disgraceful. Just as fascist used incrementalism in Nazi Germany the Islamic extremists are following the same pattern. Interestingly, one person that may have set this in motion had great respect for the "Mohamidans" as they were called in his time. Aleister Crowley accepted the mystic practices of the Sikhs and in fact had his most life transforming event in Egypt. By no means was he an enemy of the Arabs or the followers of Islam.

However, Crowley was forty years ahead of his time in the advocacy of Free Love and the ceremonial use of drugs to enhance his theurgical union with his Holy Guardian Angel. While he was not individually responsible for the flower child movement and the ensuing explosion of drug use in the 1960's and 70's he did influence icons of that generation.

Ozzie Osborn of Black Sabbath mentioned Crowley by name in one of his songs and the whole quasi-diabolical persona of that band may have had some inspiration from Crowley. Likewise, Jimmy Page, of Led Zeppelin, was greatly influenced by Crowley. So much so, he purchased the former estate of Crowley near Loch Ness, Boleskine. Page is said to practice the Golden Dawn magic where Crowley first made his name, this is not Satanic worship as many would have you believe.

But how does this lead to the Islamic Jihad for world domination? Well the 1970's started a trend to social liberalism which increasingly offended the ultra-legalistic mullahs of the extremist sects of Islam. It could be argued they should have the right to be offended by rampit drug use, casual meaningless sex, and the alienation of entire generation of our children--many Americans hold the same offense. However, the Fascist-Mullash decided Jihad was the answer to irradicate the great Satan and since 1979 we have seen incremental attacks and aggression on the West and Democracy.

Ironically, Crowley associated himself with the Great Beast, 666, of Revelations. So was Crowley the catalyst for the current extremist Jihad Fascists movement to rule the world? He did break many social conventions that became commonplace occurences in the 1960's by the Social Trendsetters of the Western Culture. Crowley even has a rather fervent cult following that many closed minded religios of all denominations consider devil worshippers or Satanists. So it would seem Crowley is indeed the Anti-Christ prophesised in Revelations--except for the fact that his overriding philosophy flies directly in the face of the Jihad Fascists.

In fact, Crowley had much in common with the Freethinkers of Natural Law of the 1700's: Locke; Adams; Jefferson; Washington; Franklin and Payne. Man has innate irrevocable rights that no man, institution, government OR religion can deny. Crowley believed every man and woman was a star and the summation of his life philosophy was, "Do what thy will, shall be the whole of the Law." Many claimed this was blatant promotion of Anarchy, but Crowley, if nothing else, was an intellectual and deep thinker. His philosophy simply meant find your true will and do all humanly possible to attain one's True Will. There was an addendum to Crowley's Do what they will... and it was "Love under Will, Love under the Law". Crowley was no anarchist, if anything he was a Libertarian (and yes a libertine) of the ilk of the Founding Fathers---inalienable rights that no entity can revoke.

So did Crowley put in place key motivators for what we are now experiencing -- perhaps yes. But he also in his erudite way promoted a philosophy that is held by the majority of Americans not in the strict esoteric sense, but in the sense that we will always reject tyranny and we own guns and know how to use them.

By the way, the real Anti-Christ is Mark Burnett who continues to parade has been celebrities on to his endless reality shows and thereby scarring our collective psyches. C'mon what redeeming factor is there to Chakha Khan showing her pomeranian's best pet tricks or the Dancing Guy from the Mighty Mighty Bostones favorite quilt collection. What are our real priorities

I suffered from a couple epileptic episodes in the last few days and was actually hospitalized. This gave me time to think and also watch the cable news stations. One of my priorities is to stop my seizure activity, but I find this increasingly difficult with the apoplectic rhetoric that is issuing from the political camps in Washington.

Can we put to rest the tired rhetoric about our country going to war on the spur of the moment. Every last one of the flaky representatives had the same intelligence that the President had concerning Al Quaeda and weapons development in Iraq. And most of the spineless milquetoasts voted in the majority to go to war.

The Republicans are not guilt free, since from the very top they are trying to run a political war, not a war to win. We are dealing with revolutionaries that have a specific goal. Do we need a revolution? The question can easily be answered by asking yourself if you feel you are really being represented by your political proxies in Washington. Iran is looming....

I had some life changes in the last two years. Many priorities changed in my life and I was looking at life differently. Surprisingly, I was drawn more to the path of mysticism rather than magic. In the past I was drawn to the Golden Dawn tradition but for some reason I wanted to rid myself of all the ceremonial trappings and meditate to enlightenment.

This introspection was also part of my mundane life. I started questioning why things were the way they were. Why did my property tax go up and why do I need to pay that amount? Why do I need to arrive at my job at eight and leave at five? Why must may taxes be taken out of each check rather than pay at the end of the year?

The result questioning these and many, many more questions was I learned we simply give control of our lives to ruling authorities with much faith and little assurance of our universal and eternal rights. The more frightening point is few these days question "why?". That is when Michael Savage, scurge of the political left and the ACLU, entered my consciousness.

I had heard Michael Savage in the past and quickly changed the radio station. As a native Texan, I had a hard time dealing with his New York City accent and his brash demeanor, I was not ready for the Master. However, I started listening to him on my drive home and more important listening to what he said and realized that Dr. Savage ( yes, he received his Doctorate from UC Berkeley) was practicing something that few did anymore. Dr. Savage was a critical thinker. Trained in the scientific method, he was applying this to his political and world views.

I was hooked. He had reasoned and thought out arguments. He did not spew the Democrat or Republican talking points. This is not to say he did not spew, he did. However, at the end of his rant he would detail why he held the view he was discussing and, amazingly, it was the most reasoned and rational view that had been publicly discussed by all, especially any politician in the last 50 years. Dr. Savage is very intelligent, but, if we all think about what we are going to do or why we do what we do, wouldn't we also have some level of rationality?

Dr. Savage gave me a valuable gift, in fact, a priceless gift, that of using the most powerful gift given by God, the gift of really using my mind, critically thinking. If anybody reads this they may write it off as another right-wing tool to promote the talk show monopoly of the Repbulicans. Interestingly though however, after listening to Dr. Savage and using my brain I quit being a lock-step Republican and now consider myself as a Libertarian/Independent awake individual in God's Universe.

Future Posts and Projects

Since my recent down time many projects have been brewing in my slightly damaged head. One is the Terri Schiavo Memorial Hall of Fame induction list. The thought being that since the Priests and Agents of the Cult of Death have now enabled State sponsored killing of a living soul that is not in the womb, we will from time to time issue lists of living people that the Death Cult should pursue next.

(A quick disclaimer we in no way condone or agree with the killing or starving or enabling a quicker end to one's life but are simply using the macabre Schiavo episode as a way to lampoon those that worship Death, State Power or Humanism.)

An example of some possible inductees: 1) Ted Kennedy; 2) Robert Byrd; 3)Pat Robertson; and 4)just about anybody in the ACLU. Of course, there are problems with this list-- for example, Ted Kennedy actually died in 1969. The Illuminati recovered Ted's body after his infamous wreck at Chappequidic and replaced it with an advanced automaton that is powered by ethanol and gin. Since that time "Sen. Kennedy" has been a puppet of the One World Shadow Government whose only purpose is to further the advancement of the Shadow Government and find enough gin to keep the automaton running.

Likewise, the ACLU is the legal arm of the Death Cult and Shadow Government so their destruction or abolition would be 95% good since 95% of what they do is not only bad but despicable, if not diabolical. However, the 5% good they do is enough to keep the libertarian current of human Free Will alive and therefore, gives each soul hope and belief that there are rights that no entity, government or cult can remove. This is mans' true destiny and it will cause the eventual destruction of the Death Cult's Plans.

Isn't Robert Byrd already dead? Another question, if a tree fell on Pat Robertson in the woods would he soil himself? He always has this look like his Depends are half full or about to be.

So as you can see I need your help with the Schiavo List of inductees. Please give me a few names and why the should qualify. Remember, the criteria is the world would not change or be hurt by the persons starving to death. All are fair game but let's keep it PG-13

Adult Onset Epilepsy

A few, but probably nobody have been following any of my posts, which is fine this is just an outlet for a frustrated quasi-writer, but you may have noticed that it has been months since I have posted anything to my blog. After years of experimenting with different levels of consciousness through yoga, meditation, endurance sports, spirituality and "other"means, I learned at the age of 41 that I have epilepsy. This was a different level of consciousness, but not necessarily desirable.

Waking up in an ambulance with very concerned people shouting your name and then asking your name and the whole time trying to figure out what just happened is a paradigm shift, but not one expected. Oh well, it is said when one is ready the master will appear. Maybe this is my wake up call to start again applying myself to the Path.

I would like to know if anybody else out there has learned that they have epilepsy in their adult years. It has changed my life and in a twisted way I now seem more alive and dedicated to spirituality and family. In my case, the medication they have given me has stopped all seizures and now I'm getting back to a "normal" life.

What are your experiences? If it started later in life did the medication control the seizures? Were you able to stay on one medicine?

I started on Dilantin, but after seeing a Neurologist was changed to Trileptal. I was very wacked for several weeks on the Trileptal and just when I was adjusting the Doctor doubled my dose, but now I am fine.

Please share your experiences. I have found many websites concerning epilepsy but they all seemed to assume that the onset was in adolescent or teen years. I did learn that many artistic and intelligent people had epilepsy. In fact, some believe that it is a by-product of being a genius. So let me here from the rest of you geniuses out there.

Is Anybody Out There

I realize my paradigm is dissimilar from the mainstream, but am I the only esoterist that is pleased with the steps to freedom the Iraqi's have taken this last month? I realize many of you have an internal constitutional difference with President Bush and his moral compass, but if you put aside your political differences and/or dislike for President Bush's evangelical christianity, cannot we all agree that the most recent actions have allowed our Iraqi brethren to as General Crowley puts it: " Do what thou wilt , shall be the whole of the Law."

Please keep in mind that those of the Muslim faith that strive to inhibit the way and how the Iraqis practice their faith are just as constrictive as the "demonized" born again christians. Frankly, what the mainstream Muslim clerics have done to the "Religion of Peace", is a sorry belittlement of a once mystic and powerful faith. The onetime pious goal of elevating ones soul to the level of the prophet is now cheapened to a quasi-commercial sponsorship of martyrdom to blow up ones-self and all the infidels one can take with them.

Is this the Muslim journey to providence? Were the Salem Witch Trials the road to salvation for the 16th Century North American Christians? Did the Nazis purify the gene pool by anihilating the sons of the muderers of Jesus? The same query applies to the Chinese purification of the Tibetan Bhudists.

I will posit that any killing or degregation of another, no matter what their faith or creed is an abomination of universal law. God, Yod Hey Vav Hey, Allah, Adonai, Gaia or th Holy Guardian Angel, Hua does not want the sublimation of an individual, but that individual is you consciousness or ego. By sublimating the "Malkuth" persona we can move towards knowledge and conversation with the Holy Guardian Angel--our birthright and magnum opus of esoteric working or, "The Great Work". Therefore, the current cult of death that is being promulgated by the leaders of the resistance to Iraqui freedom is not only misdirected, but also diabolical.

The relative innocents that take the path of destruction with hopes of reaching paradise and the 70 virgins do have some guilt for their actions but the leaders that are encouraging and yea monitarily rewarding the worthless death acts are collecting aeons of negative karma for their facilitation of these terrible deeds. Those that are fighting to the death for their view of what Iraq should be are not included in this group. It is the Mullahs of the Death Cult of Allah that are dooming their followers to a round of Daathic Qulippothic non-reality. A dimension of shadows with no redeeming path, so close to the crown Kether, but a million dimensions from it in a real sense as their actions caused a displacement in the Tree of Life.

Those that followed the Death Agents of Allah may be able to redeem themselves from their actions, once they understand the full impact of the lives they took and senseless cult they followed. To some extent this is the journey that we are all on: redemption from previous sins and transgression, but many of us had a millenium of karma to workout--while many of these Islamic Death Pilgrims are incurring vast karma debt with one action.

I bring this theory to light for those that are anti-war and for that matter against the U.S.A.'s actions in Iraq. I'm not arguing the merits of the actions in Iraq except from the standpoint that those who are using the suicide soldiers are in most cases burdening the souls of the relatively innocent suicide soldiers with centuries of bad karma. When will this cycle end?

The United States may have finally worked off the karmic guilt of the centuries of slave trade, but as the last half of the 20th century proved it is no easy task. What will the reincarnates of the suicide squads have to endure to work off their karmic note? Will they be re-injected into Mid East situation as a trial of their faith and integrity? What can we do to ease this karmic cycle?

Those that say they have the answers should be tested and re-tested, but we should pray or send blessings to our higher power, God, Goddess, Holy Guardian Angel etc. to give those who were casualties of the suicide pacts an quick and clean path to the Pure and Cleansing Light of JHVH, Adonai, Kether, or whatever is your all being.

If you are on the left side of the Iraq issue that is fine, but please meditate, pray, channel or chant for the end of the suicides of the innocents. These souls do not deserve the manipulation of the diabolic puppet masters of the insurgents. Those who are more advanced in metaphysical matters may want to give a go at guiding souls of the innocents to their paradise. Please know they have a preconception of what awaits them on the other side so your guidance may be a bit harsh in the beginning.

Why Christians are Hated

Previously I had posted a position in support of Christians' rights to worship and celebrate in a public forum. It seems to be in vogue to Christian bash and Christian hate. I try not to hate, but two weeks ago I experienced an example of how Christians can be hated.

The weekend after the tsunami disaster I was listening to a multi-faith talk show hosted by a rabbi, a Priest, and a Minister. The topic was "Why does God Allow Disasters to Happen?" I was stunned to hear in 45 minutes several callers state that God sent the tsunami to punish the godless sinners (at least the non-Christian god sinners). These people actually believed that Christ punished the thousands of people because their form of worship. I find these types of Christians very distasteful and can see why the more militant may even hate these Christians.

It is very arrogant to believe that Christ would intervene in matters of faith in such a way. It is also very arrogant to believe that one is a member of the one true faith or church ( of course that excludes your faith or church as it really is the one true faith or church-- of course).

Their is a macrocosmic universality to all faiths. The virgin mother and sacrificed son mythos was around a good 1200 years before JC hit the ground. Krishna, Osiris, Thoth, Isis and others were involved in some form of a "Passion" mystery. To believe that only your god is the only entity that died and arose again may be a sign of faith but is very narrow minded in the grand scheme of things (of course this does not apply to your god who is the one true god unlike all the others--of course).

The Christians that believe that the tsunami was God's vengeful wrath may be right, but how many times have you been miffed or insulted by a know-it-all who is always right. This type of Christian makes it easy to be a target of hate and in fact, the vengeful wrath concept is rather hateful itself. With all the hatred that is occurring in the world we don't need more gas thrown on the proverbial ecumenical fire (of course you are allowed to hate as you believe in the one true God and his vengeful wrath is a matter of your faith--of course).

Church/State separation?

As will become clear in the following days, I have experienced some scaring of a Christian sect that had pre-millenial tendencies. In fact, now I would consider myself a believer in God in the western esoteric tradition--whatever that means, but I'm becoming more troubled by the increasing pressure to remove religion from any public event (public in the governmental and general sense). This exclusion of faith seems to be directed specifically to Christians, for now.

The concern is there is no specific mention of separating Faith and State in the founding documents. True, the founding fathers structured the branches of government to specifically not have a state sanctioned Church, e.g. the Anglican Church in Great Britain or the Roman Catholic Church in most of Europe. Notice they did not restrict religion or faith. Indeed, the motivation of many Europeans to come to North America was the ability to practice their religion without persecution (many Wiccans would debate that this was true for all "religions"). But, Protestants, Calvinists, Shakers, Quakers and even Jews had comparative freedom to worship compared to England and the European continent. The distinction is the difference between Church and religion or faith.

Fast forward to the 21st century and we now see any expression of religion or faith is increasingly becoming censored. The mention of God is politically incorrect. Many Christians are quick to point out that the United States was founded on the Judeo/Christian principles. This may be true to in a general sense, but it is also this argument that causes many of the attacks on the Christians' God. There is no doubt that the Founding Fathers generally believed in a God, but with some research one can discover that it was not always the God of the Christian church.

Thomas Jefferson was a Deist. George Washington attended the Methodist church but it has been documented that he never partook in the sacrament. Likewise, Washington was an extremely active Freemason. Benjamin Franklin was a member of the notorious Hellfire Club while in Great Britain. The point is these men believed in a higher power, be it the Great Architect, the Ain Soph or the Big Bang. So this should satisfy most arguments against demonstrating one's faith in a Supreme Being-- except for that of the Atheists'.

To the Atheists the mentioning of God in public places ( the Pledge of Allegiance, In God We Trust on the dollar bill, the Ten Commandments, etc.) , in their view, forces religion upon them. It goes against their beliefs and therefore is a breach of the establishment clause.

Atheists have a set of beliefs and principles. One atheist explained to me that logic and common sense is their Supreme Being. To just have faith to believe in a Supreme Being does not fit into the Logic Matrix of many Atheists. However, logic cannot explain some of the mystical, magickal and metaphysical experiences that have been documented. Aleister Crowley, a self-professed atheist, invoked and evoked spirits, angels, daemons, gods, or archetypical portion of his complex psyche. Whether these were actual spirit beings or projections of his mind these activities do not fit into the Logic Matrix of atheism. Likewise, stigmata, floating, astral travel of yogis, mystics and magicians are not logical. Interestingly, advances in quantum physics may give logical answers to how these "magickal actions" happen. So what's the point?

The point is all humans have a set of beliefs concerning God, religion or faith that will conflict with others. Many Christians would consider me a Pagan, while Pagans would opine that I've just read to many books on Qabbalah and really don't know what are faith and magick. Currently, it is politically correct to exclude the trappings of Christianity from our popular culture. This offends the Christians. Yet, the display of Christian dogma offends the Atheists. The existence of Israel offends many Muslims. Recently, (post 9/11) many of different faiths were offended by Muslims, Arabs or anybody that looked Arabic. And of course we are always pissed at the French.

My point is we have a right, a self-evident product of natural law, to worship... or not worship. We don't have the right to not be offended--actually, true diversity ( the current quasi-religion of many academics and elitist) is many faiths, creeds, races, lifestyles co-existing. Being offended is a natural by product of Diversity and Freedom, which was bestowed upon us by, not the Founding Fathers, but God and all that entails. Do what thy wilt, shall be the whole of the law.
